Again from a previous thread, a few people have previously called out that what we see now is the 'real' Harry. A man who has the unlucky combination of being very thin-skinned and emotionally febrile. I suspect the palace PR machine did a significant amount of talking him round, to convince him that clapping back at every slight is counter-productive and largely fruitless.

His reactions now - instant, unguarded, over the top - show the difference that a good PR team makes when you follow their advice. I agree with the PP who said they need a crisis management firm; the problem is that I doubt either of them would listen. They come across as people who believe firmly they are not only right, but need to be seen and heard to be right at all costs.

Am I the only person who hasn't met David Essex. ?

I haven't met him but I saw him in concert at the local flea pit way back when. I didn't note a lack of height but TBF was quite a long way back cheap tickets

I still think he's underrated (inexplicably almost absent 😡) in 70's compilations.

I loved David Essex , disappointed to hear he's short though. What was the name of that programme he was in - something about a canal ? I bought Jackie every Tuesday, loved the freebies sellotaped to the cover, one memorable green eyeliner/eye shadow stick that was so rough it nearly took my eyelid off . Was never a fan of Angel Delight, I was more of an Arctic Roll fan . The first programme I saw on our new colour tv was Disney Time.

The love letter thing sounded odd as it implied a bit that they would be with her - or perhaps she just wants them to be about her. Very odd ideas that may have worked when we weren’t in a COL crisis.

agree that she’s trying too hard and needs to let her authentic self free. It suggests she lacks confidence and is worried people won’t like the real her. Which is quite sad

I'd add that the clapping back started the moment M arrived on the scene. Starting with that "leave my girlfriend alone, you racists" (that William was drafted in to support) when she'd only been in the country long enough to snub Piers.

(The drafting-in of others is a feature of the clap-back, too. How in god's name did a smart cookie like GP get dragged into that role?)

@LemonLeavesi suspect they have crisis management in spades but you can’t manage a crisis when the people in it are completely unwilling to admit their part. It’s a bit like
trying to get an alcoholic to see the damage alcohol is doing. They are entirely committed to their entrenched position as victims of the RF or at least the media. While doing very little to assuage it.
