I suspect the key issue was Omid's lie that the letter naming the alleged "royal racists" was leaked by an aide from KC3's desk.

The Head of State of a nuclear-armed G7 nation with security ties to Five Eyes, (KC3 is head of state of 4 of the 5 eyes), Norad (KC3 is head of state of 1 of the 2 nations), NATO, various Commonwealth and bi-lateral defense initiatives, training and arming Ukraine in a hot conflict on NATO's Eastern flank among others absolutely cannot have a leaky office.

Omid wrote Endgame in California and met up with H&M who had a copy of the letter as recipients, the same H&M who had "forgotten" that they had co-operated with Finding Freedom. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to conclude that the most likely leakers are H&M.

While we may dismiss Omid with a roll of our eyes, the security of KC3's office is of critical importance to every 3 letter agency on the planet and none of them can take this alleged security violation as a joke. And I expect that these agencies were not backward in communicating their displeasure to Omid and any other relevant parties.

I am holding my fire from making up my mind completely about this issue until I know the outcome of the official enquiry.

@LemonLeavesgod I couldn’t agree more. They don’t have a PR strategy, they have a crisis or series of them, because they don’t listen and they create more damage as a consequence. And the real truth of it is that no one wishes them
harm, if anything the opposite. But it’s hard to negotiate with people who are unwilling to listen, think they know better and act like teenagers who didn’t get their own way. The RF has not covered itself in glory at any point in history. Our monarchs have wielded power for self interest - but not exclusively - and our late Queen was a paragon of duty maybe too much so. I think even she recognised the damage emotionally.

And so Harry can write books and rail against the world he was brought up in, but really to what end? He could have done so much more
good as a part of the RF, and worked with his brother to bring about real change. It’s so hypocritical to want out and yet expect your life to continue as it was and for every single person to jump to your demand. But he doesn’t know better and he isn’t the sharpest man. And Meg is possibly the worst person he could have chosen - a wannabe power player/ influencer/ blah blah
