I don't think anyone comes out of this particularly well. I should imagine most involved now wish they'd let sleeping dogs lie.

Meghan and Harry have behaved so forcefully and without consideration to others to further Meghan's interest and image ever since they met. Meghan is someone who forces her way in. It's very interesting to observe. She doesn't seem to care how ridiculously she comes across. It does not bode well for their children if daddy's main mission in life is to do mummy's bidding and finding excused for mummy's bad behaviour.

The Royal family really must have thought WTF as soon as this pair started with their entitled and ridiculous behaviour. One can only hope that the Royal Family have learned some valuable lessons from the chaos Harry has been enabled to create to protect future generations of the monarchy.

Watching the Sussexes’ manipulative, self-serving behaviours unravel on the world stage is very entertaining. I've already played the interview of Dr Sophie Chandauka to my dc1 to educate them on what integrity, intelligence and standing up for what's right can look like. My dc1 really liked Dr Sophie Chandauka.

I don't know, I think Sophie Chandauka is coming out of it looking quite courageous, honourable and strong.

So Meghan arrived unexpectedly at the polo event with a friend? Why was she on the podium? Why was she holding the cup? Why was she directing SC where to stand?

Absolutely, very well said.

Oh absolutely. She is the underdog fighting a spoilt prince and his hangers on, trying to protect the interests of some of the world's poorest and most vulnerable children. She has principles, is doing everything by the book and is a wonderful role model.

Because she told Harry that's what she wanted to do.

I was just reading the very first report in the Times about Meghan bullying staff, one of the lines now standing out is that Harry begged Jason Knauf not to take the bullying allegations any further.

Its almost groundhog day with Harry trying to sanitise Meghan Markles awful character.

I don't know how this is going to end, or all the ins and outs of it. However, one thing is clear: Harry and his supporters are shocked that such a woman is standing up to a Prince of the Realm.

SatinBall · 31/03/2025 08:14

Final comment this morning, Chandauka is the opposite of the fake insta influencer way of life, she's factual, calm, and goal oriented but with principles and ethical standards. I love having seen what she does and am certain she can turn around the charity. It's something I could see myself supporting.

Profhilodisaster · 31/03/2025 08:14

Without the men in grey suits to mop up after him , Harry has shown us who he really is, it's been one disaster after another.

i just hope something similar comes out about Invictus, because AFAICS this is another “brainchild” he’s used for relentless self promotion of his wife

SC was a trustee for a number of years, then was invited back to chair the Board.

It is likely that she has put more time and effort into Sentebale than Harry has, over the years.

So why should she walk away if she thinks that is all being wasted by the actions of a patron? The whole point of a patron is they should be an asset. They don't have any other job in a charity, they don't even carry any legal responsibilities in the way trustees do.

She is not the only one who has accused Meghan and Harry of bullying. It seems obvious that this is how they operate. I hope they don't get away with it this time. Looks like they bullied the wrong person. Glad somebody has stood up to them at last.

Galdownunder · 31/03/2025 08:39

This really feels like a house of cards topple for H&M. She’ll brass it out but I wonder how short people’s memories are going to be when the same claim is raised again and again and again. Dr C sounds to me like a woman who’s had a bloody gutful of their bullshit and is completely done.

Thedom · 31/03/2025 08:40

The Vanity Fair bullying expose this year said Harry was Meghan's enabler when it came to her bullying staff and Harry doesn't understand why he has to work..

When you read what has happened to Sophie you can totally see its the same playbook, Meghan pulling Harrys' strings to do her bidding and Harry coasting it until he needs his mates to do his bidding.

Bullies carry on until someone stands up to them.

From the Hollywood Reporter.

Why’d they all leave? What explains the churn? “Everyone’s terrified of Meghan,” claims a source close to the couple. “She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice. They’re both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently. Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he’s very much an enabler. And she’s just terrible.”

its an interesting to reread it in light of Sophie Chandauka revelations, it absolutely confirms her experience.

I think Harry is completely unable to accept anything negative about Meghan even in the face of overwhelming evidence from others or even if he sees her bad behaviour with his own eyes.
His total belief in her has become essential to his entire idendity.
To him, she is his opportunity to “save” his mother.
He will defend her to the end of the earth and will always allow himself to be blind to her glaring faults.
We all know that he put her above his brother, father, etc. I even wonder if he will include his children in this second place slot should they dare to criticise their mother when they grow up.
I really think it would break him to accept the reality that MM is not the wonderful, life enhancing, font of all wisdom he has bought into.
He has put all his psychological eggs in her basket and he knows he must never ever let it drop.

Yes, and that's why the RF may not have thought "WTF" when the antics started ... after all they knew him and may well have seen it coming

Baital · 31/03/2025 08:50

The trouble is, once you have very publicly Given Up All for the Most Amazing Love Story Ever, it's very difficult to go back. You're locked in.

As the Duke and Duchess of Windsor found.

Give him enough rope....
I'm sure the RF and palace staff have tried over the years, to guide Harry in the right direction . You can lead a horse to water and all that. My guess is they thought fuck it , get on with it your way then and so , no, I doubt they're surprised at the outcome.
