The statue the two brothers unveiled was a travesty, it really didn't capture her.

And I think as far as those that don't toe the line (Diana, Meghan but extraordinarily not Sarah) are written out of the story and heads are stuck in the sand.

What do you expect? Diana is "out of the story" as you put it due to being a tiny bit dead. Meghan extricated herself at top speed and the pair of them betrayed the RF. Do you think they should be crawling up her backside? Sarah stayed loyal and onside not to mention present.

I like the statue and most importantly, her sons approved it, so that is good enough for me. I don't think they would be too upset that you don't like it.

Well before everyone gets on their high horse and starts criticising Harry for something he hasn’t done yet, perhaps we can shelve the negativity until a documentary about his mother does, or does not, come to be made.

Tbh I wouldn’t be averse to a documentary being made to mark the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death. And if anyone were to make it, surely one of her son’s would be the most qualified?

I think her legacy in terms of statues or memorials has been quite poor and let’s say I think the current main players in the RF have done quite a bit to either erase her from memory, or besmirch her reputation.
So it would be refreshing to see a documentary made about her from the perspective of someone who wasn’t trying to do either of those things.

And IF it was to happen then it should be both of her sons, not one hijacking the memory of their mother to the detriment of the other.

I’ve thought a few times about Harry’s relationship with his niece and nephews. George would be 6, Charlotte 4 and Louis 1 when they buggered off on their “freedom flight”. It seemed that he had a good bond with them - does he just not give a shit about them? About the impact he is having on their lives in London, where he sets of bombs amongst the family whilst hiding away in a Montecito mansion?

My opinion: he resented the lot of them because they bumped him down the line of succession. That line is REALLY important to him.The fact his auto-lie-ography is called “Spare” - ie directly references the line of succession - show this.Honestly I’m half expecting him to do what his ancestors he couldn’t be arsed learning about did before him, and ride into England on a horse with his army to duel with his brother. Which, if you look at it, is what he’s kind of doing - but instead of swords his weapon is social media, and instead of soldiers he’s got bully Sussex Squad

I think his attitude to the children is unforgiveable. Those children didn't do anything to deserve his callous rejection of them. I don't know how he can live with himself over that especially since he had his own children.

It's happened in my own family though and as a result I have teen DNs whom I don't know at all. It's sad but it's not my doing.
