There will be no Spare II, even though H said he had enough material to write another book. I got the impression that he has some awareness now of just how much damage he has done. Maybe it's more than 'some awareness' and instead 'the scales falling from his eyes'. Don't they have a four or five book deal with Penguin Random House? So far, we've had 'Bench' and 'Spare'. What next?

I can't see them moving out of Montecito unless the situation is absolutely dire. I think that house is the stuff of dreams for Meghan and the keys would have to be prised out of her cold dead hands. . I'm not sure I am overly keen on the house - I think the rented one is much prettier and probably bigger than it looks on the show - but the (M's) garden is fabulous. I certainly can't see M wanting to move out of California away from the mountains and the beach. It does look stunning. I believe they bought that house at a very big discount do if they were to downsize they have made money over and above the normal price increase in the area which would help - on the other hand they are living in a more expensive house than their original budget would normally buy.

Any which way it's back to have they a future with Netflix , Will As Ever take off , is there another book in them etc. I think she has another podcast thing coming up - maybe that will do better than the last one. I don't think M will give up trying to find some big money spinner ( and fair play she seems tenacious ) The problem is what she has is being married to Harry and he has being KC's son. Outside that interest seems to wane in them. I suppose a reality At home with the Sussexes would have interest but I can't believe Harry would countenance that - however persuasive M can be 😉

If Harry writes another book it would surely have to be a positive one and not a moaning whiny one like Spare . I think writing another one and revealing more 'dirt' would just be another nail in his coffin and certainly slam and lock any doors back into the royal family that may have been left ajar.

He was "in" for long enough to know a lot of stuff. I certainly knew lots of my family's less "elevated" secrets by the time I was mid 30s and even if he made some up/exaggerated (perish the thought,I know) it would sell. I think it would backfire horribly and quickly, but someone would publish it.

ETA PS the boring secrets of the Uricon family are available for a bottle of gin and some pork scratchings, any publishers out there.

Well, anyone can be super rich if they marry a billionaire!

However, billionaires are a very rare species and they don't marry just anyone. Realistically, it's hard to see what a 40 something woman with two children and a ton of baggage can offer a man who can have any woman he wants.

And she's not going to make huge money from flogging edible flowers. Come on.

Jerry Hall famously got very little, financially speaking, out of either of her marriages to very rich men so I'm not sure she's a great example.

But if you're saying that the only way for Meghan to become super rich is by marrying a billionaire, which theoretically anyone could do, then that doesn't say much for her abilities.

Jerry Halls an interesting one. On her (IMO) baffling romantic trajectory from Bryan Ferry she got thoroughly done over by Mick Jagger (inexcusably on his part) and I didn't get the feeling she was with entirely with Murdoch for his money, inexplicable as that seems. I think a rather more robust personality that Meghan, though.

I don't think Harry is important enough for someone to marry her to have a go at the royals, in the way that Diana was.

And Jackie O was the Diana of her time, even more so. She was also very discreet and private. So definitely a 'prize' for Onassis. Marrying the ex of the 5th in line wouldn't be anywhere near the same sort of 'coup'.

Those bics look like the "melting moments" we made in Home Economics class in the first year at senior school, ie 11. Drew looks well, though, nice to see.

Meg Sussex is talking about always making sure when she travels, she records a bedtime story to send as a video for her kids “ so whoever is with them” or papa can say here’s mammas story.

Whoever is with them!!!!!! Who says that!

Sounds like they’re always with the nannies and she ain’t even sure which ones! Those poor kids! What mum would talk like that!

She was talking about growing things in the garden, whilst standing in a massive kitchen garden….and she said you can even grow things if you live in a tiny flat in London.

The name thing is weird. The only time it’s used that way in the UK is for the kids at school and for William and Harry when they were in the forces.

Also the alliteration of Meghan Markle is so much better than Meghan Sussex.

I think she barely sees those children. And what child wants to watch a video of their mother reading them a bedtime story? That's desperately sad. Surely 70% of the magic of bedtime stories for a small child is that shared experience and physical presence of their parent who they have their primary secure attachment with? She needs therapy for her extreme narcissism.
