I noticed the old thread is almost full so thought we could start a new one to carry on the discussion about the rebrand and merching.

It's telling, the extent to which Harpo (Oprah's production company) have memory-holed the H&M interview.

Other similarly high profile Oprah interviews (Michael Jackson, Whitney, Barack Obama, Tom Cruise) were syndicated and re-broadcast ad nauseam. By contrast it's very hard to find the H&M interview even on Harpo's social media channels.

Rumour has it that Oprah was furious that a) there wasn't anywhere near as much tea spilled as she'd been led to believe and b) the juiciest bits subsequently turned out to be, well, not entirely 100% factual.

I am another who thinks her visibility is poor. Apart from the very new Insta account, 5 trillion highly critical media pieces and making a holy show of herself at Invictus as recent examples, where has she been seen of late? Chat shows, red carpets, interviews, large parties all appear to be very lacking and you'd think someone with a new show and a new brand to promote would be "out there" more.

Maybe she thinks she's above it or perhaps people don't want her, I don't know, but it seems odd.

I would never minimise the trauma of miscarriage having had 2 but I was bewildered about Harry burying the foetus in the garden .

Me neither @Mylovelygreendress , apparently there was also inconsistencies with those stories too!
And I hate to say it but I think Meghan and Harry rely on people not saying anything about these sensitive topics and that is why the use them , the suicidal thoughts story is all over there too.
But who would dare say anything?!

I definitely agree with this.
I think for me it was starting from the point of the pandemic to write an article about her own life event, and that at the point of writing she had Lili well on the way.
This may be me projecting though, after having secondary infertility interspersed with widely spaced miscarriages, I found it odd how she wanted to dwell on the MC with another baby so soon on the way. She has two healthy children with a small age gap. I do understand that it’s not a misery competition and people deal with things differently, but it seems insensitive to put that in her bio now, but maybe I’m not looking at it through the right “lens”.

I know @Puzzledandpissedoff ! I was there I remember, anyone who even questioned anything at the time was called a monster , deleted or vilified! ,
But the truth is the truth , it can't be ignored now that if not lies their "truth" is extremely exaggerated!

I'm not even saying that these things didn't happen, I'm just asking...why are all the stories different?
Why are the narratives changing every time it's shared?

Yes - this time last year, on International Women’s Day, Meghan took part in the keynote panel for the annual South by Southwest (SXSW) conference in Austin, Texas. The panel was titled, "Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen," and also featured Katie Couric, Brooke Shields, Nancy Wang Yuen, and Errin Haines.

There may well have been others (I’m not including speeches made at Awards events where she and Harry have been given an award - there have been a few of those too).

Burying human remains in the manner described is against Californian law, I understand.

Aren’t there lots of animals about in California, coyotes etc. I wouldn’t bury anything with my hands with those about.

Ffs , went into my garden , bent down and have put my back out. I had to call my daughter round to get me back in the house. I'm now in bed , had some morphine (left over from a previous episode) but can't move, bloody agony .
