Where's Doria?

She used to attended public social events with H&M - cant remember the last one? She always comes across as classy and calm - I wonder how she deals with it all? Think she had a tough enoughh time in her early marriage to an older man with difficult teenage step children. Do we know if she remarried or had a partner after Thomas?

You said " all is rosy". I'm just saying you can't tell that from this. Simple.

Gosh. Every word I type is analysed.

OK.. just for you... I will rephrase it. All appears to be well with Mother and Daughter from what we can see, given Doria participated in her daughter's series

I hope that is to your satisfaction 👍
Simple

DuchessDissasster · 05/03/2025 09:53

It's a forum. Of course someone is going to read what you say - that's not analysis. 😂 You don't need to rephrase it for me. I saw what you said. Ok you have downgraded it now from " rosy" to " all is well". It's still a snapshot.

DuchessDissasster · 05/03/2025 09:54

Sorry " all APPEARS to be well" . 😊

BustingBaoBun · 05/03/2025 10:07

Good lord... never knew 'all is rosy' could be so triggering!

I made it 'all appears to be well' because I know 'all is well' would be jumped on.

Samcro · 05/03/2025 10:12

only yesterday i was reading a thread where one of the wales squad was saying that Doria might have been in prison. made up bull shit obviously. but sadly people will say anything to have a bash at meghan.

i haven't watched the show as its not my thing. im not a fan or obsessed enough to watch something just to slag the person off.

NotaRealHousewife · 05/03/2025 10:15

Doria doesn't strike me as the type of person who wants to live her life in the public eye, she is probably happily spending time with her daughter and grandchildren away from any publicity

It's not triggering . Stop trying to make it into a personal attack on me. Stick to your own opinions .

Fine. My opinion is 'all is rosy'. 👍

DuchessDissasster · 05/03/2025 12:49

Remember that for future - avoid making things into personal attacks or I will report you . To have an opinion is fine.

I have not made a personal attack. I find it very odd to persistently challenge me saying 'all is rosy' when it is obviously just an opinion on a forum because that is what the mother/daughter relationship seems like to me. You don't agree, that is absolutely fine.

You do not need to put out a warning to me and tell me 'remember that for the future' 😲
Feel free to report me if you so desire.

DuchessDissasster · 05/03/2025 13:44

You suggested I was triggered by your post. I wasn't and that is a personal attack suggesting something about someone's mental health. I suggest you read the guidelines as you don't seem to understand that. To quote oft used phrases on here " I prefer to let posts stand to let others see what kind of poster someone is " and to finish I have nothing else to say to you so " let's leave it here shall we? "

BustingBaoBun · 05/03/2025 13:54

Yes please please let's leave it there. We can agree to disagree like adults. I apologise for appearing to question you on your mental health.
I agree, I prefer to leave posts to stand on their merits, or lack of, whatever the case may be.
Can we just move on.

No one has ever suggested such a thing. Don’t be silly. ridiculous post.

You obviously don't remember the Where's Kate debacle. All sorts of bullshit about her being dead and buried because she hadn't been seen out and about for a couple of months, and then when she was photographed claims that it was a double 😁. The Wales kids are being raised to a life in the public eye. Their parents are navigating the intrusion the best way they can, and seem to be doing a good job.

Jacquettes · 05/03/2025 14:15

I do remember it. But no one has suggested that about the Wales children. Not a person. Other than you - anticipating that people ‘will be along shortly’ to say it. ????

I don’t need to know about the Wales children, either.

Reetpetitenot · 05/03/2025 14:23

I bet you thought they wouldn't say it about Kate either, eh? It was said, as I'm sure you're very well aware, as a tongue in cheek response to posters claiming the Wales children are used as some kind of prop, when in fact they're family members who are very occasionally seen out and about with their parents, who are trying to ensure their children are resilient and able to cope with life in the public eye.

Samcro · 05/03/2025 14:29

never knew "triggering" was a PA. odd as its used on so many thread titles on mn.
the stuff about Kate last year was awful. but never as many threads as the ones about Meghan. even this wheres Doria thread, is just a thinly veiled attempt to bash Meghan.

God almighty? What an oddly overwrought response. Perhaps go and have a nice cup of tea and a bit of a lie down.

Have seen a photo of Doria in one of the reviews standing at a drinks reception outdoors - is this her only appearance - or is she involved in any of the cooking segments?

OP posts:
Samcro · 06/03/2025 14:19

why not watch it and find out?

Testiclz · 06/03/2025 14:51

I dont have NF so was considering if it was worth popping over to a friends to watch one of the episodes (understand it is the last episode) or not.

OP posts:
BustingBaoBun · 06/03/2025 15:20

Why are you desperate to see her?
I haven't watched the series either, I like a bit of pap but I just have not had time and my DC was.on NF last night. I intend to watch at some point. I have seen a clip and she was in it for about 30 seconds from what I could see

Samcro · 06/03/2025 16:25

@BustingBaoBun the only people who seem to be watching it are the wales' squad.
its not my thing, no more than Kate playing piano.
I do love a programme about royal residences though.

BustingBaoBun · 06/03/2025 18:50

@Samcro You're not wrong there. I believe it's 8 episodes and some posters talk like it's the law that they have to watch it, they don't!

I want to watch some of it, I just haven't had time, and we share NF and my DCs have been on it so just haven't had a chance. I've seen some highlights and bits of it, and will watch some of it.
