With this new authentic Insta post where Meghan positions herself as a go between in securing some signed merchandise I think there's still plenty to discuss.

I don't think there is anything much to read into Meghan leaving early. She often only attends part of the Games. As to why she didn't mention she was only going to part of it, she has never announced that. Iirc when she arrived late they made an announcement later because people were speculating about why she wasn't there.

It's another example of them being stuck on the royal/celebrity fence. I would expect, and we always get, an announcement as to whether Catherine was attending Earthshot. I wouldn't expect Cate Blanchett to announce she was leaving Earthshot early or arriving late.

They need to pick, well they have already, they need to rather behave as celebrities and drop the titles which are not really helping at this stage.

I'm not entirely sure whether it's Harry or Meghan or both of them who is determined to hang onto the titles and put them on everything they do.

ZT does eventing, not dressage and also not the same as show-jumping (though eventing does include both dressage and SJ).

Imo the only interesting part of CdJ and indeed Epstein and Diddy and Al Fayed (all allegedly ) in relation to the RF, and H&M , is that the information on CdJ (and the others) had been around for a long time.
Lots of people were aware of the way CdJ treated her horses and the actual video that was released was several years old.
I'm fascinated by the reasons such information is withheld/covered up and why details are then latterly released.
The timing of release, the fact that there are incriminating videos just waiting around to be released. I just wonder what else is yet to be revealed.

I agree, Recollections. Many unanswered questions there, but the main thing is that she was exposed... People who had held her up as a beacon for how you can reach the highest levels of FEI dressage in respect and kindness, had the veil removed from their eyes.

Don’t know about anyone else but I’m just getting vibes of no one really caring any more, just genuinely not giving a shit. You look back to the press around the last invictus or one of their faux royal tours- the papers were full of what she was wearing, where they were going, soundbites etc. But with this one, even on the DM (who their supporters say rely on stories about them for clicks, as if they’ve solely kept the publication afloat for the last seven years) you have to scroll down to the bottom third of the webpage before you found anything about it. Very little coverage elsewhere, even on pro-Sussex leaning social media like Reddit’s Royal Gossip or FauxMoi. Unless something changes big time I think they’re at a tipping point where they’re about to find out the truth behind the hackneyed saying “the only worse thing than being talked about is not being talked about”.

I think you're right. They've stopped being even vaguely entertaining now that they've pretty much run out of shit to sell and lies to tell, and it's obvious that the US isn't impressed with them and they're yesterday's news. They're just tedious now and their dim-witted, culturally vacuous pretensions are so very, very dull.

This is the problem people run into if they mostly say things rather than do things. Social media and media in general has a really short attention span for statements and speeches without content. Take away the Royal gossip, which is what most people were fascinated by, and they have very little to keep them in the public interest.

They courted controversy deliberately - it made them money, but more importantly generated headlines. It's an effort to stay in the headlines and get the clicks and the pictures,there are loads of controversial celebrities. I think all these strange loved up pictures were part of that - it makes for a good photo. But people will tire of that. What are they? A middle aged couple who were once royal adjacent, now clinging on to the vestiges of privilege granted by their titles. Ok, they're amusing, but that's limiting. As is jam. Where from here?

You are right TheCraic, after a poster based in Canada posted that it's only the British media still reporting on them, with little to nothing in Canadian media about Invictus and H&M, I checked out the Vancouver Sun and Toronto Sun, and that poster was right, in the VS there was a small section way down in the entertainment section about the opening ceremony. I know the Canadians have bigger things to be reporting on now, but you would think there would have been more of a splash about it considering it is on their home turf and Meghan calls Canada another one of her 'home''s (😀)

It seems to be the DM and People Mag who are the only ones still reporting on H&M at Invictus along with RF watchers on SM.
