Jason Knauf is a real person too. A private citizen doing his job. Who has been mercilessly denigrated here as a liar, being paid off by William and Kate to lie about Meghan and Harry, being in the pay of Dan Wootton, and generally the worst human ever. Basically because he ha the courage to stand up firstly for the rights of the employees Meghan was bullying, and then advising the Court that Meghan and Omid Scobie’s evidence was false.

None of Meghan and Harry’s supporters cared a bean about being kind to him, either.

The outpouring of hatred towards people you don’t even know is crazy. I’m not a fan as such, just somebody who was astonished at the hate articles printed about them every single day right from the start, and also the bizarre level of interest from Piers Morgan.

Don’t people remember or care what happened to Caroline Flack? I think people need to remember that H&M are real people with children. Whatever your thoughts, however much you dislike what you read about them or anybody else, nobody deserves to be hounded by the press each day the way these two are.

It's really very boring now.

The 'I'm not even a fan' and 'how can you hate people you don't even know?' thing is more predictable than clockwork. The Piers Morgan name check too.

Have you got anything else?

And Meghan said she never pays attention to the 'noise' about her in the media and only reads 'The Economist'. So you need not worry about her being 'hounded'.

I wonder if they will try a retort this time, doubt if they will do an official comment. After the HR bullying report it looked like no one would do a clap back on their behalf, so they resorted to US weekly, it was a real pathetic attempt though, that just made them look ever worse, (if that was possible)

Just as with the palace's lack of influence here, IMO there'd be no point in the couple even trying, Thedom

The beauty of playing the long game is that folk such as H&M will always show their true colours and cook themselves without any help from others ... all they had to do was wait a while for the inevitable to happen, and so it's proved

The bullet points:

  • H & M are being targeted by a hate campaign
  • H & M are the ones being bullied - online and in the mainstream media
  • Nobody cares what they did anyway except weirdos
  • M is the victim of misogyny, criticised for behaviour men get away with all the time
Edited to add: I'm off to the other thread, where a single sugar is holding the fort, to see if/when it appears there.
Edited

You need to add in weaponised suicide ideation now.

Catherine has children. The Sussex Squad have accused her of faking her cancer diagnosis, and actually being out of the public eye because she had a face-lift. They know for a fact William beats her and possibly has killed her and the person seen in public now is a stand in. The Sussex Squad are publically thanked by Harry and Meghan for their support. Catherine has done absolutely nothing to warrant being in the Squaddie firing line, yet has been unmercifully bullied for years by Harry and Meghan’s supporters. And those two hypocrites who are so against bullying and hatred on social media have done nothing to address it. Have not asked their attack dogs to stop the harassment of anyone, be that individuals, small businesses, professionals, who are deemed to have 'disrespected' their honeys in some way. Can't take anything Harry and Meghan say seriously, soz.

WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout · 19/01/2025 11:01

Unfortunately for their supporters people are seeing H&M for what they are. Be kind only seems to be for them and not anyone affected by their actions. Seems to be do as I say not as I do.

👏👏 this bears repeating

Puzzledandpissedoff · 19/01/2025 11:24

Some excellent points there, @Reetpetitenot; I'd only add that H&M probably couldn't afford to call off their "attack dogs", because with people this unhinged there's every chance they'd turn on them

And yes, @Atlasvue, Sun Tzu was right Smile The whole thing's just been so depressingly predictable from the start, and hubris has done for them as it's done for so many others

Some excerpts from The Daily Beast.

Meghan Markle’s former U.K. employees, who called her a “demon” boss prone to “psycho moments,” said they feel “vindicated” by a Vanity Fair report alleging some of Markle’s American staffers needed therapy after working for her.

Responding to the Vanity Fair report, one former employee told the Daily Beast: “I am surprised that people spoke out, but I am not surprised by the content of their allegations. It seems like nothing has changed. There is not really much more to say.”

Another added, “I feel desperately sorry for the people affected, because I have been there, but I also feel vindicated.” The source said that people claiming Markle is the “world’s greatest boss should be ashamed of themselves.”

They added, “It’s obviously very tempting to work for her when you are being wooed and love-bombed, but people should be in no doubt; she is a nightmare. I would think the atmosphere will be particularly hellish now everything is going to s--t. She doesn’t do disappointment well.”

Another source, a member of the so-called “Sussex Survivors Club,” told the Daily Beast in September: “I always thought she was a classic narcissist and getting her staff to tell a magazine how amazing she is only confirms that in my mind. She is lovely when it is all going her way but a demon when the worm turns.”

Jason Knauf, who was Markle’s press secretary when she was a royal, wrote in a 2018 note to Prince William’s private secretary: “I am very concerned that the duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X was totally unacceptable.” He added: “The duchess seems intent on having someone in her sights. She is bullying Y and seeking to undermine her confidence. We have had report after report from people who have witnessed unacceptable behaviour towards Y.”

Meghan dismissed the bullying allegations as an attempt to smear her name. Her office has not commented on the new Vanity Fair piece, and did not reply to a Daily Beast request for a comment.

The UK has somewhat bucked the trend of politics and just elected a left wing Govt in a landslide.

34% of the vote, less votes than they won at the previous election that left the Tories with a majority, and supported by only 20% of voters is hardly a ‘landslide’.

BasiliskStare · 19/01/2025 11:58

I do think they could have forged a very good role for themselves within the RF. I think the Late Queen offered them much. I suspect Meghan was beguiled by the $$$$$$$$$ her PR / management people she was in touch with about what they could earn as half in half out Royals - but didn't wait to see if that was on the table from the late Queen. I think Harry forgot he was 2nd son and all that goes along with that - so shame on him if he did not tell Meghan this properly - I think he thought she had the stardust which would change the institution, forgetting he is only where he is because he is KC's 2nd son and she is who she is because she married him ( I mean status )

I think Harry was a bit silly not to tell M they would have to defer to W. Equally I think M oversold her bankability & they sold out too soon with their high profile popular trashing the RF things. I do think Harry was ill advised with his "Spare" narrative and hasn't thought about the privileges he has. Never had to worry about money and given projects to do etc. Feted .

I actually hope M makes a decent fist of her lifestyle thing - because it means they are genuinely making their own money which is what they wanted & it might calm them down a bit - but it seems most of their projects haven't got the viewing ( apart from the documentary ) and Spare has earned money but surely a busted flush now.

I think the Oprah interview in the way they did it was ill advised - so many untruths. But I wonder if they just thought the RF can't respond so we can say what we like.

They were offered an apartment in KP and Frogmore cottage which personally I think is one of the nicest properties the RF have - sizeable , gorgeous looking and utterly secure.

Nott Cott is I think about the same size as my house maybe a bit bigger & I manage - even with a DC living at home but then it may surprise you all to know I am not related to the Royal family - not even by marriage 😂

Do Beatrice and Eugenie get housing in the UK?
Do Zara and Philip?
Or have they had to buy their own homes?

M& H if they'd played their cards right and left on good terms could have kept frogmore cottage, and spent summers at Balmoral and Christmas at Sandringham.
This would have given them star power in the US.
Americans but still in the family.

Utter stupidity with to do Oprah and Spare.

Tbh this is what I would have aimed for if I were her.

Leave on good terms, keep the links & benefits of remaining part of the family. Can’t live here because “horrible press” but visit for big events & holidays (photo ops).

Swan around Cali in gorgeous flowy clothes and glossy hair. Photographed at Sandringham in some cool, heritage wear (a la Claudia in Traitors) & at Balmoral in the summer. Wait for the big brands to come in with offers, pick the best of the bunch and let Catherine keep her LK Bennett / Boden aesthetic while signing deals to represent something fresh and interesting.

I would also add that one reason Labour got so many seats is because of a shift to the right by many voters splitting the right of centre vote between Conservatives and Reform.

Their attack dogs are not beholden to the actual person Meghan - they are in thrall to the concept of her. That's all I can say ...

People say Harry and Meghan should call off the “attack dogs”, but I’m sure they have no idea what goes on on social media in their name TBH! I doubt they’re checking X or Instagram and reading all the comments.

I know, itstillmeehere, but that's exactly the point ... if forced to change their "concept" of their idol after receiving a perceived criticism from her things could turn nasty

As seen from so many posts they're not dealing with rational people here, and things are surely already bad enough without attracting an unwelcome reaction from the unhinged

I’m sure they have no idea what goes on on social media in their name TBH! I doubt they’re checking X or Instagram and reading all the comments

Edited to add that, while I obviously can't know, I wouldn't be so sure @elprup
After all it's hard to see what else they have to fill their days, and as already mentioned I don't want to think what claims about his wife touting a post-divorce book will be doing to Harry's mind, whether it's true or not

As second son of the son of the monarch, this is actually a pretty traitorous opinion. What authority did he think he had to think he could change the institution of monarchy within the UK? He has no more right to do so than I do.

In that case, they shouldn't set themselves up at the highest governmental levels as experts and influencers in the fields of online safety, free speech and censorship. If they don't know what is being said and done online in their name to real people, then they are in no position to lecture others.

If they don't look at social media why are they suddenly experts on it's impact? Or are they, as per, bumping their gums about that of which they have no clue.
