Catherine’s return to duties

Catherine has returned to her public duties and has visited the Royal Marsden hospital today to “show her gratitude to the incredible team, but also highlight the world-leading care and treatment the Marsden provides".

It has been revealed that she attended her chemotherapy appointments at Royal Marsden. She thanked staff and visited patients for approximately an hour. It’s also been released that she will join William in becoming a royal patron of the hospital.

The gold shamrock broach is actually owned by the regiment and loaned to royal women for associated events. It has a tiny emerald at the centre.

Believe it or not, that is actually a skill. Plenty of people I know in public-facing roles are terrible at it.

I will always remember Catherine having to do an engagement the evening after Scobie "accidentally" named her as one of the Royal racists and also on a foreign tour during which topless photos had been released. On both occasions she carried on with a smile and made sure the focus was on the causes she was highlighting not herself. I think that is classy.
