Netflix has delayed start of Meghans show

Just seen on Sky News. Breaking News headlines. Delayed because of the wild fires didn't say if this was technical difficulties or it would be a bit crass to launch a frothy type lifestyle show with all the devastation. Anyway it might be shelved for good with any luck.

That article is so damaging. There’s nothing in there that will be surprising to many of us though. It’s confirmation of our views, (for which we have been berated for by their ardent supporters for so long!)
Bully. Hypocrite. Victim.
She creates a toxic workplace and takes no accountability for her mistakes. The failings always have to be someone else’s fault because she truly believes that she doesn’t ever put a foot wrong. She believes that she is knows better and is better and gets frustrated when people don’t share her high opinion of herself.
“Why doesn’t everyone love me, look how fabulous I am.”

I wonder what their next moves will be and how they’ll react to this. The Netflix execs won’t be happy about it, that’s for sure. If the delay was for damage control then it’s completely backfired.

Her supporters will continue to try and excuse this behaviour or refuse to believe it of course. As I have posted before, my sympathies are kept for those who are and have been affected by her behaviour and abuse.

Four actually - there’s the Times, The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair and Jason’s Knauf’s original complaint to HR.

With the backup original source comment from Harry that he saw people weeping at their desks in his office!

He’d worked with these teams for years and he didn’t think this was odd?

Atlasvue · 18/01/2025 16:42

How can Harry see her behaviour and not be repulsed by it? Why does he think she’s the victim when she mistreats people?

Why do they pretend that they are this force for good in the world when he will have seen how she was rude to his family, bullied palace staff, bullied Spotify staff.

What does it take for him to get the ick?

wordler · 18/01/2025 16:48

It’s amazing how much crying/weeping has been going on compared to the pre-Meghan days.

Staff at their desks, Meghan’s main assistant on the Africa trip, Kate and/or Meghan over the bridesmaid’s dress, Meghan multiple times on the floor.

He has put all his eggs in one basket with his complete devotion to Meghan. He has to believe that she is the one being wronged and misunderstood. He is totally in thrall to her

Agreed. I think Harry comes out of this very badly despite the charming narrative.

Was it not him that said silence is the same as complicity or something similar. It was a stick he tried to beat his family with.

The other part about being charming is that abusive people often turn on the charm and stab you the back - just look at the Relationships board here. Harry appears very slimey despite what the narrative is trying to peddle.

I can easily believe that Harry has beautiful manners and has learned by observing his parents how to make a good impression and put people at their ease. That's bound to come across as charming.

I think it's quite possible that he's not like that to manipulate, but because it is the default in his family.

I agree. I think Harry’s good manners are genuine. The problem is that Harry doesn’t really have a firm idea of who he is or what his principles are. If someone suggests to him he should be angry about something, or a cause is worth championing or something, he will do it because he is easily led and because he doesn’t have any real idea of what he believes

Seeing as it’s too cold for romper suits and sliders this year, it will be a catwalk show of designer ski gear whilst leading the veterans I expect.

Agree he will never ever leave her no matter what she does, her on the other hand will drop him like a stone if it’s to her advantage, won’t be anytime soon though, she will wait until the handouts from Charles stop and the inheritances that have been given to Harry are safely in the bank account. I think once William is King she will be off as there is absolutely nothing left for her then, she will sell her tell all book, get a massive settlement and set her self up as the new Kris Jenner with Archie and Lily, that’s my prediction anyway.

I wrote it because a certain poster is so gleeful about her bringing brought down that they are relaihing in this news except news moves on super quick. Headlines cna change within hours. Whilst on here and some other social media platforms will continue to talk about in the media it's old news and they on to the next thing. That's just how it is.

What do you think is going to happen? Last time when the report didn't come out and you were all talking about people saying she bullied people it didn't bring her down. Like people saying they are running out of money yet here they are almost 5yrs since leaving and they still have money and they are still together.

Don't you think it's right that bad behaviour is exposed, or are you a champion of bullying?

This article may well be superseded by the Trump inauguration but it's not going away. These articles serve to regurgitate things from the past and people look at them and say " oh yes" . Hindsight makes things look different and not always for the better. I can't imagine it's a very happy weekend in Montecito Mansion.

I think it would be foolish to dismiss this because of Trump. Plus we all know Trump is not a fan. Something else will emerge and this will be looked back at.

They must have awful reputations now. And far more will passed around on the grapevine that could never be printed.

And you don't know if they have invested money thay is replenishing their coffers but people who have that much money usually have it invested.

Is there no lengths you won't go to in order to defend this pair?

What have they done to deserve your hero worship?

I'm not defending her nor hero worshipping her. No need to attack me and accused me of such things.

If people speculating abojt why their money hasn't run out well I'll comment back why I think they haven't. That isn't defending it's just providing a view point as to why not.

DuchessOfPort · 18/01/2025 18:47

I wonder….. if VF told them about the article (they did offer to interview them after all - presumably as a right to reply type thing - so they couldn’t possibly deny they knew about it) and Meghan realised that the article would be published just as her last hurrah on Netflix was airing.

Could the LA fires have been a great cover reason to delay - she can go mad humanitarian, hugging bemused staff / randoms and then have the VF article glossed over and try to have inevitable coverage over and done with by the time episode 1 comes out?

Do you think she's a workplace bully? We now have 4 accounts of distressed employees - 5 if your count Harry's own words in Spare about staff slumped over desks crying.

Nobody's attacking you at all. Just responding to what you have written and challenging your narrative as you challenge other posters' narratives. That's the point of posting here surely?

Just trying to understand why you so valiantly and repeatedly defend the indefensible? You have no facts to back up your assertions.

I don't know how you know all about their investments and how they are fine for money!!! Bit of a reach! Investments or not, wealth is finite, and it's a logical conclusion to draw that, given their massive outgoings, they need more of it!

Challenging my comments? Thats why you branding me a hero whirshippernof Meghan or msgahn supporter Thats a personal attack to me. That isnt commenting on a point I made.

And as I have said previously noone knows the details of their finances. So whybare you only popping at me say the same to all the posters on here who keep saying they are running out of money. Why only say that to me then? As you feel the need tontell me i don't have facts well neither do you or anyone talking about their money. So it's a bit rich for you to say that to me

wigsonthegreenandhatsforthelifting · 18/01/2025 19:31

For pity's sake!!!

BasiliskStare · 18/01/2025 19:38

I find Harry saying his mother was essentially murdered very uncomfortable. I think it is widely accepted that Diana used the media when it suited her. Dine with the devil etc. But the driver of that car was drunk , speeding and the bodyguard was the only one wearing a seat belt. Whether those motorcyclists made him speed up I don't know but I think murder is too strong a word to use

I’m so deep in the madness of many threads about this across the internet I found myself reading this as Meghan setting the LA fires as a cover reason. Bolder than a pap walk.
