Just seen on Sky News. Breaking News headlines. Delayed because of the wild fires didn't say if this was technical difficulties or it would be a bit crass to launch a frothy type lifestyle show with all the devastation. Anyway it might be shelved for good with any luck.

I find Harry saying his mother was essentially murdered very uncomfortable. I think it is widely accepted that Diana used the media when it suited her. Dine with the devil etc. But the driver of that car was drunk , speeding and the bodyguard was the only one wearing a seat belt. Whether those motorcyclists made him speed up I don't know but I think murder is too strong a word to use

Murder is not just too strong, it’s plainly incorrect. You cannot be “essentially murdered”. You are either murdered or not. And Diana was not

BasiliskStare · 18/01/2025 19:51

@smilesy - yes you are right. She wan't murdered.

HeddaGarbled · 18/01/2025 20:12

If that’s what he really thinks, though, that explains a lot.

No idea who will be the one to leave- but Harry will end up with a twenty something posh totty

No, I think a steady, older woman. Still looking for a mummy.

I think Meghan is a bit of a mummy to him. She deffo wears the pants. And he went out with plenty of Sloane-y blondes already.

itsstillmehere · 18/01/2025 20:44

You would have to be deranged to hook up with Harry 😂

FromTheOfficeOfJammyTodger · 18/01/2025 20:48

They need to hire for Harry an actual Norland Nanny, complete with stunt woman driving skills should he end up in any more catastrophic car chases, and excellent hot chocolate making skills.

With a pot of E A eight hour cream.

It’s amazing how much crying/weeping has been going on compared to the pre-Meghan days.

Staff at their desks, Meghan’s main assistant on the Africa trip, Kate and/or Meghan over the bridesmaid’s dress, Meghan multiple times on the floor.

I think he's utterly convinced himself that all the staff misery etc was entirely due to the evil media and the stress caused by the negative publicity, ie. Totally external factors, nothing to do with his or Meghan's behaviour.

As another poster said, he's utterly in her thrall and incapable of seeing any fault in her behaviour - everything has to be blamed on someone else.

On a separate note, I find it amusing that @Spectre8 is studiously refusing to comment on the bullying allegations, and is just focusing on refuting claims that they might run out of money, which really is the least important issue here 🙃

StartupRepair · 18/01/2025 20:58

Agree that each bullying allegation/employee resignation is spun by a tearful Meghan to Harry as 'people are so mean to me, you must protect me or they will 'murder me like Diana.' Powerful stuff.

That and saying that news about the Trump presidency will bury it anyway.
So that's okay then, presumably.

Eta Obviously quotes aren't allowed to include poster's names since one is missing from my quote.
Fair enough.

There's definitely a pattern on this board where direct questions go unanswered.

It usually means that the poster doesn't have a reasoned response to give.

Don't you think it's right that bad behaviour is exposed, or are you a champion of bullying?

Don't seem to have had any response to this perfectly reasonable question?

Spectre8 · 18/01/2025 21:27

I don't owe anyone on here any explanation or response. I'll comment on what I wsnt to and thats my perogative. Think of me what you like but I don't know you so I don't care

Floundering a bit. Tough day?

Shame you don't apply that logic to posters commenting about the Sussexes; but instead you regularly come on these threads having a go at those posters for discussing two figures who put themselves and their batshit ideas into public discourse and who seek to influence policy that effects everyone. At least everyone knows they can just ignore you from now on, as is their prerogative.

I will post this a third time for you @Spectre8 very interesting that you refuse to respond, why is that?

So, but for this article being buried by Trump's inauguration, do you think its contents need to be investigated? Do you think allegations made against 2 very rich, powerful, well connected - at the highest levels - anti bullying and anti free speech campaigners merits a further investigation/conversation?

Yes there has been a lot of tumbleweed to direct questions from their fans these past couple of days, a few have slunk back to the shadows probably cooking up a thread about Adele not performing at the Coronation or something equally inane.

If you are going to have any credibility in a debate, then you need to be able to respond to a direct question. A failure to respond leads to the conclusion that you are not able to defend your position.

I don't care that you don't care, but it would be ok just for once to acknowledge if something isn't right. It might strengthen your argument and demonstrate that you are completely biased on one side.

It doesn't make much sense posting if you can't reason cases.

And i get regularly called a megahn supporter, Sussex squad member so if its going to be dished out I'll respond in kind. Treat others how you want to be treated back...

I don't come here for a debate just to kill abit of time not endlessly debat things with people I dont know. You and others might and thats your choice.

The whole point is to have a debate is it not? Otherwise what on earth is the motivation for you? I really don’t understand.

But you are a huge supporter, why the shame in admitting it? I’m a supporter of the King and a constitutional monarchy, I’ve no qualms at admitting it on here, why don’t you have the courage of your convictions?

Indeed. You are quick enough to pick other posters up where you don't agree with them, so forgive me if I find this disengenuous. You post and respond to other posters so you are doing the exact same as everyone else.

I am at a loss to understand why you can't answer, "Don't you think it's right that bad behaviour is exposed, or are you a champion of bullying?".

The lack of response leads to the conclusion that you are ok with bullying and that you don't think bullies should be exposed. It's not a difficult question for most people!

Have you ever thought of entering politics?
