Good gawd, is there a new rule now that we can't make any kind of announcement about anything within X number of days of our sister-in-law's birthday? Who made that rule up?
The video and the Netflix show both look pretty facile and I shan't be viewing, but this kind of stuff is stupid.
Once again I am struck by the tendency among modern women towards "competitive non-attention-seeking," ie insisting that other women's "special days" must be safeguarded/feted/put on a pedestal to an absolutely ludicrous extent (even when the woman herself doesn't bloody care). It's essentially just the latest form of bitchy and controlling behavior.
