😆Amazing dogs, but tbh no, I've never seen one actually levitate. I hadn't looked at any of the images closely, so I've just zoomed in to the one with the dogs and it's just completely 'off'. So many things are weird about it, that I can't help but wonder if it's deliberate.

It's Meghans freakish eye for detail 🤭

RedRosesPinkLilies · 18/12/2024 09:59

Following on from @SidekickSylvia and this is verging into conspiracy theory/ will likely get me grief from some people
The picture does look weird - even more obviously photoshopped than the PoW one.
Could they be setting themselves up to get the same level of criticism- a kind of see poor us as well.
I just don’t understand them, but it distracts me from my much bigger real life problems

I’m not sure that would work given that a “source” was quoted as saying Meghan would never get caught doing that as I said up thread. I think it’s more a case of saying they would never do something and then doing it anyway. A bit like not using the children’s titles of Earl and Lady because they wanted to give them a ”normal” upbringing but then as soon as the more Disney sounding “Prince and Princess” became available for them to use, whoops they accidentally stared
using them 🤷‍♀️

I couldn't even see where the PoW photo had been photoshopped although I accept the professionals could. However I can definitely see things not right with this photo and the body language of the dogs just doesn't look right to me. The dog with his tail between his legs while looking at one of his owners is very strange. Beagle tail are almost always sticking straight up. There has to be something quite wrong for them to be between their legs.

WinnieTheW0rm · 18/12/2024 10:35

I agree about the body language of the dogs

It's also the way they are hanging back. Maybe they are incredibly well trained dogs but my experience with beagles is they want to be right in the middle of everything!

Ellerby83 · 18/12/2024 10:47

Archies legs look wrong. At first glance he is running but both his feet are on the ground and his legs are bending unnaturally. Lilibet has a huge shoe/sock

Yeah I don't have an eagle eye for these things, but this photo looks weird to me.

The black dog appears to have only 3 legs.

Meghan's left arm is unusually long.

Archie's legs look curved rather than bent.

There seems to be a white triangle slotted in over Harry's left thigh.

The dogs seem strangely unaffected by all the supposed excitement surrounding them.

And why is the photo so low res? Even if it was taken on a camera phone, it should be much better quality.

Odd.

queenofarles · 18/12/2024 08:03

children look happy and loved and looking at both parents it’s impossible to think the children won’t look cute .

But then , Are their fans really this happy the children skipped Meghan’s genes ? and purely resemble a white English aristocratic woman ?

this just points to so many contradictory things ,
I really don’t want to go down that road but I thinks it’s obvious to everyone.

This is a difficult issue to discuss as it involves colour of skin and racism accusations are easily thrown about on here.

The most fawning posts about Meghan that I see are always all the lines of " she a WOC came and took your white Prince and that is what you hate blah blah. She left the UK as she was too good for it. The RF were racist and wouldn't give Archie a title because of his skin colour"

Yet now fans are indeed celebrating that the children show no trace of Meghan's heritage ( to our knowledge) and it's all about the red hair and Diana and the Spencers. Total madness 🤔

stripeyshutters · 18/12/2024 11:26

Anyhow it's old news now and just another thing to add to weird things the Sussexes do.

WinnieTheW0rm · 18/12/2024 11:29

If you think it's difficult "here" (ie in the topic) you should see what was posted in AIBU about this

The regulars here are considerably more moderate and most don't slot neatly in to one "side" or another

CurlewKate · 18/12/2024 12:19

@stripeyshutters "This is a difficult issue to discuss as it involves colour of skin and racism accusations are easily thrown about on here."

Only when people are being racist....

WinterCrow · 18/12/2024 12:25

That AIBU thread is mad. I backed away slowly.

queenofarles · 18/12/2024 13:07

Only when people are being racist

is it? Don’t you thinks it’s odd that the people who were mad after the Oprah interview are Saying those children are all Spencers with heart emojis ?
specially since The onset of all of this is the claim there were concerns about how their children will look ?

To see posters rejoicing in seeing the children inherit white genes, not any white genes not Thomas’s for sure , but British aristocratic ones.
speaks volumes , it’s only racist when it works for them , and not when it also works for them.
And it’s not just about children or skin Colour . It’s the mindset , they still view aristocracy superior even in places where they never existed like the US.
it’s just incredibly deranged . Specially with all the hate they have for the RF.

AmazingGraze · 18/12/2024 13:20

IcedPurple · 18/12/2024 08:22

Odd, isn't it?

Why all the fawning over red hair? Why the obsessive focus on one quarter of the children's genetic inheritance?

The extremely English aristocratic family?

What happened to celebrating Meghan's biracial identity? Is that all a bit last decade?

I don’t see how anyone can tell if the children have inherited her genes or not. We only ever see them from the back.

HunterdeButts · 18/12/2024 13:23

@queenofarles they have to maintain their dual argument of "royals never wanted a black woman" and "PH & MM's children are the most aristocratic of royals in looks and all other respect", because the former promotes the victim narrative of MM and seeks to trump any suggestion she had any part in her own failures to adjust to royal life through her own actions; and the latter perpetuates their fantasy that she will one day take the throne with the ginger prince and her offspring will be next in line. It's all quite pathetic.

They can't see their own racism/prejudice in crowing over Meghan's children not looking like her or or Doria, can't see that this is worse than the alleged (and never proven) "Archie's skin colour" conversation (as we are talking about living children, not the not yet conceived children of that alleged conversation). They can't see that PH going on Colbert and expressing relief that his ginger genes had prevailed - over his wife's mother's black genes presumably, as her father's genes are blue eyed/fair haired too - is worse than anything his family allegedly said. He and Meghan on the Netflix doc appearing to be almost disappointed and dismissive of Archie looking like her, then swooning over Lili's "blue, blue, blue" eyes lie Diana's is another example. In fact, all of their Diana-cult behaviour, from mooning over their daughter's looks to the names she was Christened with has been done to the exclusion of the children's living, breathing, presumably supportive and constantly babysitting African-American grandmother, Doria.

WinterCrow · 18/12/2024 13:29

I feel uncomfortable with the fawning around the possibility of H&M's children having red hair and 'Diana's genes'.

Who's even planting these ideas, and why? And why now? Who benefits from the promulgation of an idea that they are more Spencer than Markle?

Harry himself has boasted about his relief that they have his genes.

He never gets challenged on this shit, does he. At least not since he walked away from the royal family.

Onlyonekenobe · 18/12/2024 13:48

Racism, and race-based prejudice, outside white-on-non-white is really complicated. There are as many permutations and variations as there are people. Only in the white Western world do people think "racist" means a specific thing. Hence the incomprehension of what appears to be Sussex supporters' double standards. Logic doesn't come into it. It's much, much more complex than that. More than a MN thread could manage!

Lampzade · 18/12/2024 13:49

Really weird thread
All this angst because the kids have red hair.
The focus on the red hair is mainly because red hair is rare and it is a link to Harry’s deceased mother who will never meet her grandchildren it has absolutely nothing to do with the elevation of the white aristocratic genes. That is ridiculous.
.
There is currently a tik tok video of a Nigerian couple . Their three children have red hair. It is fascinating because red hair is not common

The dissection of the Sussexes card by some posters is strange. Now I understand what Harry was talking about when he was interviewed the other day and referred to the behaviour of certain people.

Diana didn’t have red hair .

HunterdeButts · 18/12/2024 14:00

Nobody has angst because the children have red hair. Sussex supporters seem to be cockahoop about it though. How do you know the red hair is a link to the Spencers? It's equally likely to be a link to Thomas Markle's side of the family. Or doesn't that lineage count?

BemusedAmerican · 18/12/2024 14:31

@Lampzade the focus is because the card looks weird. The black dog, for example, has a leg that looks like a table leg. Even I, a famously lousy and uninterested photographer, would have done a better job with my cell phone. And I'm not worth tens of millions. The card looks cheap and people are calling them on it rather than lying.

IcedPurple · 18/12/2024 14:33

Mylovelygreendress · 18/12/2024 13:59

Diana didn’t have red hair .

No indeed.

Although there is lots of red hair on the Markle side of the family.

And they are 'linked' to Diana anyway on account of being her grandchildren. The fetishisation of the kids' supposed red hair is creepy however you try to justify it.
