This ridiculous thread is still going on….

ThePoshUns · 17/10/2024 07:22

Alliteration so someone with same 2 initials MM.
And yes @Lampzade , still going . Thank you for your useful contribution.

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 17/10/2024 07:25

I think they mean that the person's name is an example of alliteration - their first initial is the same as the initial of their last name. So, for example, LL or NN.

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 17/10/2024 07:26

Cross post @ThePoshUns . Didn't refresh my page!

Gosh, if true, that sounds awful. Just checking, they do mean aliterate as in able to read but doesn’t? I’ve been rather confused there as alliterate is also a word, well a verb.

I think they mean as in alliterative ie both names starting with the same letter (MM). As it’s a “blind” they don’t name names

That's what I thought too.
I remember reading Diana Dors' autobiography in which she said she'd chosen to use her grandmother's surname Dors because alliterative names were more memorable, citing people like Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot and Claudia Cardinale.
(Mind you, being called Diana Fluck - her given name - probably wouldn't have helped her career)
Maybe that's why Rachel Markle chose to use her second name, Meghan. To be more memorable, like Diana Dors.

Mylovelygreendress · 15/10/2024 10:41

I don’t know . If Harry returns to the Royal fold he will be told to adopt the never explain never complain attitude.
Of course Meghan is a different story although she may have to sign a watertight document to get a decent settlement and keep her title.

I hold on to a glimmer of hope that they'll both put their children first if they do split - and not wash piles of dirty washing in public. It's bad enough for A and L that they'll probably read Spare and learn about the OW interview - but if H & M start a war it will be horrible for the children, if not now, in due course.

While I can imagine Harry being ordered to shut up as a condition of worming his way back to the UK, I haven't got great faith in Meghan being able to resist another moment in the limelight or a chance to play victim again, for whatever nefarious reasons.

Needanewname42 · 17/10/2024 09:27

It would certainly be better for the kids if they avoided a bun fight. But I think MM will certainly be up for one

Am I giving him too much credit for pouring so much stuff into Spare to avoid MM putting it out there later, with a weird twist?
I'm thinking the drug use and todger stories?,

You'd love to know what was really going on in his head.

Lol you will find threads on here where the same people say i wish they would both just off and live a quiet life and not be in the media so much....yet wheh they aren't you get the same people now speculating where he has gone.

Hilarious. 😆

Well, Harry has gone to the enormous difficulty of having a picture of his children on his phone (while wondering if the rest of us have), so surely no effort would be too great.
Certainly, when I heard him say "My lock screen is a photo of my kids. What's yours?" I suddenly realised that there was no truer love to be found than carrying around a picture on my phone and I didn't understand why so many people had lock screens with, say, a photo of a fishfinger or something.
A person who would go to all the trouble of clicking a button on their phone would stop at nothing to be a good person, surely?

Henry's on record as saying he has enough material for a second book but I don't think he ever thought far enough ahead to wonder what Rachel might say in the future.

If she's ever inclined to spill the dirt in print I think she'll be able to name her price.

Apparently alliterative names are popular among porn stars as well.

Where’s Harry?

He’s surfing, 3 1/2hrs away from monticeito. 31/2 hours distance away from his kids….again

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13969809/Prince-Harry-impressive-surfing-skills-California-surf-ranch.html

There is no indication that this is current (as opposed to historical) footage, though. (His hair would indicate historical.)

Same reason that my cat looks like a cat...?

ThePoshUns · 17/10/2024 10:40

The surfing story in the Mail is interesting as there are also rumours that he is having an affair with a surf instructor.

Thedom · 17/10/2024 10:46

Wonder if that is to try to put to rest the rumours about an affair with a female surfing instructor.

ThePoshUns · 17/10/2024 10:53

Or are the DM stoking the fire?

Thedom · 17/10/2024 11:06

The release of the video will have been approved and agreed by Harry and their PR. That instructor didn't just randomly post it to Insta and suddenly the Daily Mail found it within 60 minutes of it being uploaded.

It's funny there has been all this speculation about H and M potentially separating and up pops this story about H having fun far from home.
