Showing up to support her very close friend who lost her child and also the children’s hospital at an evening gala. What a friend to have in the Duchess. Meghan was glowing, fresh faced, wore minimal makeup, was confidant and smiley. She was well spoken and supportive of the evening fund raiser when interviewed. Show Up, Do Good. Yes, she always does. Loved her look too.

Far from "jumping on" I was offering a solution to something you seemed to be finding difficult, and it was "an hour later" because I'm not on here all day

However the rudeness suggests that, rather than finding it difficult, it's dawned that you can't back up the post accusing others of racism - to which the obvious answer is not to allege something which isn't there, because with something so serious people are bound to ask

I'd be embarrassed into name changing I reckon

Yeah she was very successful in suits.

Suits was actually a very well made show. I enjoyed it.

Firstly - I don't see anyone 'being nasty' about Meghan - just critical and analytical.

Secondly, even if they were - it's allowed! She's a public figure. She's worked damn hard to become so world-famous and constantly puts herself in the limelight. We're allowed to discuss her and I'm afraid you'll have to accept that she's a very, very divisive figure.

No-one on here has called her horrible names or cast aspersions on her in a misogynistic way - they're just sceptical and critical of her behaviour and the constant self-publicising and pretentiousness.

I think you're taking a reasonable discussion far too personally.

Not my thing at all, but I watched excerpts and I hated it. Corny, hackneyed, stereotypical characters and everyone looked as though they were made of plastic.

@Uricon2 perhaps posters are keen to clarify this point because they take racism very seriously (as do MNHQ to their credit)?

Unfortunately there's a long history of folk hurling the accusation when there's little to say in someone's defence, and I have to agree with @LaMarschallin that it doesn't bode terribly well for Meghan

Totally agree. It seems @Roundthemoon doesn't though as she's basically told at least 2 of us to shut up and stop repeating ourselves.

She's still not able to pin point any racist posts though.

i agree there has been some catty comments. I’m not sure it’s envy though. I think it’s dislike. People don’t like her, for the behaviour, which we won’t revisit as everyone knows what that has been.

im not sure anyone would be envious of Megan, I certainly wouldn’t wish to be her. Maybe the superfans see someone to envy, most I think don’t to be honest.

on a separate note, I liked suits, watched it all, but she was part of an ensemble cast, many of whom I’d not recognise now. I’d say more it was the show which is successful rather than Megan being a key or unique in that.

Yeah, I agree, a lot of the actors in suits were great.

I disliked the red dress the first time round. Poorly fitting. She was very attractive when she first came on the scene - not so much now. Shame she has succumbed to the Hollywood look. I have never watched Suits but it does look a bit cheesy. I hope she doesn’t split with H it’s always sad when children are involved.

Boring , tedious and not a patch on Boston legal.
