What to make of the fact that he appeared without Meghan and looked quite anxious and stressed?

Elon Musk?

@Staunchlystarling like Caroline Stanbury?

I have always found it surprising about Will. He doesnt come across as an obvious sap in the way that Harry does. I think all too often its the case that one partner has some serious dirt on the other and so they are forced to comply.

I think with Will there was some childhood trauma. Not like Harry’s but I’ve got a feeling there was authoritarian parenting in the house which affected his emotional development. I might be wrong though.

MummyJ12 · 30/09/2024 12:24

Either way I wouldn’t be jumping to definitive interpretations!

Nobody would, but this is a discussion forum where we discuss these kind of things.

Men like that will want someone young. Surely it'll need to be an older man who has had his family already, no more babies coming from her.
She might prioritise looks certainly but I dont think it'll be a younger man, she's already had one man-child.

Lots of hot single men in their forties. I think she is now very uncool. I can see some hot polo player boosting her credibility.

SmileyHappyPeopleInTheSun · 30/09/2024 10:34

Apparently she was overheard saying to Harry she had had enough and wanted to leave. Whether this is true or not I don’t know.

Maybe that was the trigger who knows but they are definitely manged/swept out of the party very quickly and efficiently.

It does speak of lack of understand and preparation from them both again. The garden parties are big because it's not just the people they talk to but the ripple effect of good will in invitee circles. I can see that being less a thing is a huge country like USA but they must have tried to brief her about it and Harry should have been aware.

I read again and again that M and H left because M was bored and I was skeptical for a long time. However I recently saw a clip from the garden party and it certainly does look like it wasn't a planned early exit. It almost looks like C was saying it's ok, you can go. Why would they leave? These parties are huge and they need a few royals to be able to circulate with as many people as possible. It's just another odd thing that happened during M's time as a royal eg early departure from Fiji market, Archie's birth announcement etc.

Elon Musk?

Can't see him having her. But apparently he was involved with Amber Heard (before her disgrace) so perhaps he likes that type.

It's a shame Hugh Heffner has died.

💗 💐 sorry to read about your son’s depression. I agree with you and completely empathise. Hope your son is having better days now.

He is but it was a long road and you’re never sure if it will come back. Thank you.

Staunchlystarling · 30/09/2024 12:14

I think next up will be someone hot. Like a sexy polo or socce player, or the like. It won’t be money or position next time, it will be hot, fashionable , eye candy

hot, fashionable eye candy

Do the picking - so someone who is equally as hot, fashionable, eye candy (and likely younger) unless they need her $$$$ - she doesnt have any status or networks for them to access.

I'm sorry to hear this. Long road indeed.🌻
One of my siblings has had significant mental health problems and they've gone on for years. No quick fix.

Alectoishome · 30/09/2024 12:33

I think she is too cunning and wily to get used by someone like the hot goldigger poor Britney was married to briefly a year or so ago.

Agree.

She might be happy with her $$$$ and to raise her DC quietly without the complications of step siblings and step parents.

Also that seems to be her blueprint - dont think TM or DR had relationships that became step parents to MM after they split when she was 2 years old.

But maybe they had relationships. Diana started the first of her many affairs before PH was 2 years old and seems KC3 was always in a throuple.

I’ve just seen this on X and thought I would share it here. Filmed in October 2019 just before they left, and when Meghan would have known they were leaving. Note the same smile when she’s lying. The video is only 16 seconds long so worth a watch if you can. I’m interested to know what everyone else thinks. It’s clear that she smiles when she’s lying as alluded to upthread.

Why is she laughing about the responsibility of the commonwealth? ( yeah I know) it's just so odd - amid secret thoughts. She's a cheeky bizzum.

You would have thought she'd be happy with her extreme wealth and royal kids, she's played an absolute blinder - even with her mucking it up.

But I get the impression that after all the adulation and adoration she got in the early years with Harry - wasnt it a third of the world's population watched her wedding? - that she will find it very hard to accept a quiet life. I don't think she'll sink into obscurity without a fight.

If she isn’t dominating and all eyes aren’t on her she can’t deal with it.

I think something being repeated over and over does tend to mean it starts to accept it as fact - and her behavior subsequently makes it believable behavior from her.

Perception also plays a role - I thought KC was less saying oh you can go more YOU WILL GO Now in polite British non direct way as part of operation getting them out of there.

I do remember the drug rumours at the time though as said to DH no way would anyone turn up to a public event under the influence - but then a lot of PH behavior is spare is odd to me - going to someone who don't know very well house and taking their hallucinogenic mushrooms and then writing about it so publicly your host has to comment just seems so odd.

If you haven’t seen it have a watch of the red table interview. It’s quite the eye opener to their relationship.

Norahh · 30/09/2024 11:43

My feeling is that Meghan will be after another relationship which can offer her status, a good lifestyle and an adoring partner.

Yes that has been her MO in the past - but have to ask what would she bring to the partnership?

I suspect it would have to be someone very old - like Rupert Murdoch...

I was going to post something similar Meghan’s next victim will have to be a very old billionaire, it wasn’t so long ago that she was rather pally with Gordon Getty and didn’t his family have to step in to put a stop to her shenanigans?

Now you mention it, I did see that at the time. I'd forgotten it. He seemed like a broken man but I dont doubt he is extremely flawed and has contributed to their problems. She was like a phirana with cruel eyes. Their children seem bizarre. I thought the boy Will had from a previous relationship seemed like a lovely, normal young man in contrast.

MummyJ12 · 30/09/2024 13:05

@Mummyoflittledragon we have children who are the same age and are struggling. (DS doesn’t have anorexia but has other significant mental health challenges).
It sounds incredibly difficult, and you’re right. Psychiatrists aren’t infallible. I very much hope that things improve soon for you both and that her condition improves. 💐

I’ve always thought ‘the slap’ was to try and regain some alpha male status back after that interview, showing the world and his wife he is a man, obviously it backfired spectacularly and Jada just sat there emotionless.

MummyJ12 · 30/09/2024 13:14

I think Meghan craves fame, adoration and power as well as money.
As soon as she realised that she couldn’t be at the top of the Royal Family tree, she was off to try and set up her own court. This is why the next steps will be interesting.
None of it is going to plan but then it was never going to, when there’s such grandiose plans as “we’re going to change the world!” (And let everyone give us freebies while we’re at it!)
I very much hope that they don’t split and hope that they are happy in their marriage, but if Meghan ever were in a position to find someone else, they would have to offer more than just money.

It was so odd how he laughed at the joke originally, he laughed for a good 30 secs. And then got up to hit him?!

All these Hollywood awards ceremonies are such cheap, tacky, vacuous affairs nowadays. When you look back on old film of what they originally were, it's a different world. Although I'm sure there was always some dark business under all the glamour.

Staunchlystarling · 30/09/2024 13:17

She could have left the party as she felt unwell or something, I’m not sure I’d read much into that to be fair.

Can you imagine the Murdochs if she started sniffing around. I don’t think she’d last a minute with them circling around her.
