See all these wise posters, lots of what we have said has been ‘confirmed’ by other sources

article in the DM:

https://archive.ph/xgEdv

One senior Hollywood publicist tells me: 'First of all, everyone industry-wide, EVERYONE reads The Hollywood Reporter. It's really striking that WME did not stop this running.'
She adds: 'WME normally – you would think – would have been threatening and denying access to other stars. Was this done here?

Thats exactly what we all thought! it’s strange how they are letting this stuff out.

As we have all seen in recent days, the dark art of covering up and killing stories- look at Al Fayed and what he got away with. So WME have done nothing???

Also, Harry attending an event in his own because Meghan is sick. No. This is part of separating their ‘brands’- I doubt she will attend any future events like these with Harry.

Seems like the wheels are falling off to me!

Has Hollywood turned on the Sussexes? Industry bigwigs reveal all

Days after a brutal take-down in The Hollywood Reporter, which labelled Meghan as 'Duchess Difficult', neither she nor Harry attended her talent agent's Emmys after party.

KC3 grabbed a valet by the throat…

I don’t for one second believe that Meghan bullied anyone.

How sweet and innocent you are dear...

Triplesec · 27/09/2024 11:53

One person used the word ‘bully’ in an email. It has been swallowed whole ever since by a gaslighting media. No facts. No real examples just vague accusations without substance, context or names. And the if it is not true she can sue them argument is very weak too. A rudimentary working knowledge of defamation and libel will show you why she is highly unlikely to win a case due to the realities of how to prove loss of earnings etc. David Linley was successful in his suit because he could prove loss of earnings and damage to reputation and his making furniture items.

So the Queen didn't order an investigation and there wasn't a report of its conclusions?

OK then. Must be nice there in utopia. Or denial.

Wow. New lows every day in this echo chamber of anti Sussex comments. I see many of the decent people have left too. Can’t say I blame them.

Yet you are still here.

You’re surprised? We’ve had women MPs stand up for Meghan, we’ve had her friends write exclusives, we’ve had ex colleagues and all sorts of professionals write glowingly. People have gone on record too saying how much they have been offered by UK tabloids to give dirt (in other words make up stuff) and they have refused the Judas coins. Now we have ex employees who have put their name to the Weekly article. James Holt is loyal and has been with Harry and now Archewell for years too. I’ve no doubt he had enough of the evil octopus tentacles reaching out across the waters hence we have the appreciation expressed in Weekly.

It takes a certain type to ignore the mountain of data that supports Meghan.

Edited

And it takes another certain type to support the mountain of data that supports the censure of Meghan.

You are so not right.

Welllll that was deep and meaningful 😂

MummyJ12 · 27/09/2024 19:07

Further to my post upthread about them separating their brands, it’s been announced that Harry is to travel alone to South Africa and Lesotho early next month. I thought that both had planned another faux royal tour but it looks like Harry is to fly solo.

MummyJ12 · 27/09/2024 19:22

To be fair, I think it’s something to do with Sentebale….

I think everyone sees Sentebale as a really good thing that he did well. Interesting, really, such a trip.

He was co-founder of Sentebale, so whereas I completely agree with you that it is an organisation that does good, and which Harry (before he married) visited fairly frequently, the actual work haslargely been done by others. But the founding Princes (Seeiso and Harry) have certainly raised its profile

The fact that it's Harry's project wouldn't stop her tagging along if she wanted to. We've all seen her hanging out of Harry at Invictus, even though it has nothing to do with her and she always looks at a bit of a loose end there.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 27/09/2024 19:48

Do you happen to know who this has been announced by, @MummyJ12?

I can find various speculation about it, but not a reference to it actually being said - unless I've missed something?
If true that would seem very odd. Considering how the Nigeria and Colombia visits were turned into the Meghan Show by the lady herself it's almost inconceivable she'd pass up another opportunity to do the same ... though she's not been in NY either so who knows?

Hiji · 27/09/2024 19:52

Did they not announce the Africa trip shortly after Colombia?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 27/09/2024 19:55

I'm pretty sure that's right, Hiji, but it's the thing about Harry going alone I was wondering about

IIRC the spin at the time was that they would be visiting Africa next, and if that's changed it would be interesting to know why

Uricon2 · 27/09/2024 19:57

I'm going to say that I now really feel something is occurring with the Montecito Massive. It may be a dramatic reset in the Sussex camp because of obvious failures (maybe they are finally taking advice) Not sure.

It is in one of their favoured publications @Puzzledandpissedoff I’ve linked for you below 😊

Puzzledandpissedoff · 27/09/2024 20:20

Many thanks, @MummyJ12 ... so it's Sentabele themselves who've referred to Harry visiting but made no mention of his wife

I suppose that's no guarantee that she won't tag along, but what with the NY absence and now this you do have to wonder what's happening; after all she's left the DCs often enough before and as far as we know it's not as if she has any functioning business interests to attend to

It says early Oct for the visit - perhaps he is going straight from the UK?

Twistybranch · 27/09/2024 20:30

Going against the grain here….but I think it’s quite frankly ridiculous….a white aristocrat, thinking that he is needed in Africa.

Counties find their own solutions to their own issues and problems. Using their own expertise and local knowledge. The optics of this look fucking awful. I hope people start protesting out there.

Even comic relief stopped sending out the celebs to Africa because of the outcry. That was years ago. Yet Harry still hasn’t caught up.

Maybe not this trip, but this will cause issues at some point

Yes, that would make sense wouldn’t it?
It wouldn’t explain why Meghan isn’t joining him though as Harry went to Nigeria from London and Meghan joined him at Heathrow before they flew together.

I believe he's in the UK for the Wellchild thing, @Hiji - an event Meghan's attended in the past - and now they also seem to be using only his name : "We are delighted to announce that WellChild Patron Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, will attend the 2024 WellChild Awards, in association with @GSK, on 30th Sept"
"The Duke will meet our inspirational winners at a pre-ceremony reception before joining them in the main event"

Source: Wellchild's Twitter account, but reported elsewhere too

I don't disagree, @Twistybranch - though god knows plenty try it, if only to burnish their own credentials - but surely that would be even more reason for Meghan to accompany him and do another 'I'm here as a woman of colour and as your sister" piece

Let's not forget that Harry suggested the RF were jealous of Meghan because she made a better job of the role than his own family ... and now she's being repeatedly left behind??

Beats the hell out of me ...

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 27/09/2024 20:49

I am wondering if someone sensible has pointed out that whilst the Sussexes are very unpopular, Meghan is more unpopular than Harry. Therefore it would make sense for Meghan to step out of the limelight for a while, whilst Harry cultivates the Royal Lite brand (more charity stuff, less Phteven-the-dog grinning and expensive ill-fitting clothing) to create more positive PR. Old Toothy-Veneers gets to pull the 'concentrating on being a mother' card whilst being bundled out of public view by the PR folk. After a few years, she re-emerges, having got her shit together.

It's clear she is currently viewed as toxic. They are either splitting up, or he is being cultivated as the acceptable face of Brand Sussex until she has been properly prepped to re-appear. She will ultimately still be ghastly, though, so I wish them luck with that strategy.

StartupRepair · 27/09/2024 21:33

Yes I too think that someone has got through to Harry that in Colombia and Nigeria he looked like Meghan's accessory. Colonial and outdated as it is, Harry's relationship with 'Africa' is something purely associated with him and a tour without her will be more successful. If he has to do tours at all.
I would love to hear HArry being rigorously interviewed about the diverse histories, cultures, economies, environmental and social issues of all the countries in Africa. I suspect for him the whole continent is a melange of safaris and singing school children.
