I think so . I did read that they have another “ tour “ pencilled in for October but no idea if that’s true . Assuming it’s true , I wonder where ?
On another note I quite liked that green dress .

Hate hugging especially when done by someone holding power, it removes the subordinate’s ability to set their own boundaries. There is a photo of Harry sat with his arm across the back of his translators chair. Forcing the woman to sit forward as she has no choice. His comfort is more important than hers but he would be offended if this was done to Meghan

OlympicWomen · 19/08/2024 08:55

@Vespanest - excellent points

Meghan saying this is ludicrious:

"So much of how I approach things is about less of the fight and how do we wash things over with love and kindness and generosity."

The crap about her daughter as well 'finding her voice', she's 3 ffs.

Also Meghan, about her time in the Royal Family:

“It’s interesting, I’ve never had to sign anything that restricts me from talking,” Meghan says. “I can talk about my whole experience and make a choice not to.(When asked why not she responds, “Still healing.”)

“I think forgiveness is really important. But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything,” she says, her voice full of meaning.

And then she is silent. She breathes in and smiles and breathes out and says, ‘I have a lot to say until I don’t. Do you like that? Sometimes, as they say, the silent part is still part of the song.’”

I also have a real problem with someone who gags not just all her employees but also the people she interacts with at at her appearances from speaking out quite so stridently about the importance of women using their voices. Unless they might want to say something that you haven’t pre-approved, Meghan? Then they most definitely aren’t allowed to speak up.

I think we need a special book containing their speeches, as inspiration for us oiks.

Thanks 😊
The green dress is from a Colombian designer, Andres Otalora. Ironically it’s called Joya Colonial!

MummyJ12 · 19/08/2024 09:22

I only take these blind items with a pinch of salt but it concurs with what you said about the next one being in October @Mylovelygreendress

There is near constant PDA and touching on this trip….even for these two.

Im not sure if Meghan uses it as an anchor for H to destress or what but you just know that that M says ‘her love language is touch’

KnickerlessParsons · 19/08/2024 09:25

She's not Princess Meghan.

Have you forgotten that she was made a Princess of Nigeria during their last tour?

Please remember to curtsey. Properly.

LaMarschallin · 19/08/2024 09:28

Didn't that make her Princess Adetokunbo?

ETA Ah. On further checking, the title was apparently "Ada Mazi' meaning 'daughter of an aristocrat'.
Which doesn't seem totally appropriate.
Perhaps they didn't have one for "wife of an aristocrat".

She’ll probably claim it can be translated as “Princess Meghan” of you spell it a certain way or something 😆

It's actually quite sinister and threatening isn't it. Not the actions of someone who wants to spread love.

OlympicWomen · 19/08/2024 09:46

"love and kindness" yeah, right.

She certainly doesn’t practice what she preaches about washing everything over with love and kindness.

Their ex employees must hoot with laughter when they hear some of the nonsense about kindness and love.

This is where it’s impossible not to laugh at their utter stupidity and hypocrisy spouting such mumble when both are estranged from their families and run through staff at the rate of knots.

OlympicWomen · 19/08/2024 06:54

That's an unbelievable level of arrogance, hypocrisy and lack of self awareness, isn't it?
The very opposite of how she lives!

It really is!
I long for them to be interviewed by someone like Emily Maitlis who would actually ask "Do you really believe that and can you see that your behaviour is completely at odds with that statement?" Then cite several times when the last thing they've done is wash everything with love and kindness.
Perhaps they should be re-interviewed by Mishal Hussain and give her free reign to really grill them after Meghan criticised their engagement interview.

sausawyee · 19/08/2024 09:56

Yet another example of Meghan trying to dominate a moment of Harry - can't leave him alone touching his back while he is receiving the musical instrument then translating ? Or talking to herself again ? and then the " it's time to leave the stage" movement even while he is talking to the people who presented it . 😳

Likewhatever · 19/08/2024 09:57

Wasn’t Ghana mentioned as a future visit? I think it came up before Columbia was announced.

I notice the DM is drawing comparisons (unfavourably) with the Waleses’ Jamaica tour. That one apparently isn’t looking so bad now. Plus ça change.

It's control pure and simple.

I actually thought that I liked the green dress - perfect colour for her 😉 but I don't like the flamenco bit at the front showing her legs. Full length would have been lovely!

Yes. The “Do you like that?” bit towards the end made me think it sounded a bit sinister
