I don’t think it’s a black bra. I think the shirt itself is so much to small for her that it is sitting right on her bra rather thank skimming it and that is producing the odd two-tone effect

Twistybranch · 18/08/2024 23:08

She’s wearing a black strapless bra underneath the white shirt. There’s better pics on Gettys images though. Why wouldn’t you have a catch all nude one? Never mind white.

This photo is like when you're trying to leave someplace and the person you're with keeps chatting to everyone on the way out and you're making a come on to fuck face at them

Hughs · 19/08/2024 00:27

Harry's hair is so comical 😂
Does Meghan's bust look bigger than on the first day in the print dress?

Yeh I thought that at first but it isn’t, you can see clearly on the Getty images page that’s it’s a black bra. This is just the best pic I could get on the DM

Meghan doesn't have much in the bust department as can be seen in those other dresses. She obviously wears a padded bra at times as she used to do during her game show stint. This shirt looks too tight.

MrsLeonFarrell · 18/08/2024 21:43

The fact that she is still telling a story from when she was 11 rather gives the impression she hasn't done much noteworthy since. Surely she has other stories to tell.

Oh no she didn't, did she? 🙄

sausawyee · 19/08/2024 00:39

Wow she certainly did a fast turn there!! 😳

So here’s something odd. Could just be strange optics but people seem to think that the vice president was going to berate/hit Meghan in this video 🤔 I can’t imagine it’s true but it does look a little off

x.com/MeghansMole/status/1825221893550727418/mediaViewer?currentTweet=1825221893550727418&currentTweetUser=MeghansMole

Sadly I'm late to the party and can't see it or was it the same one with the faster turn than the Exorcist?

sausawyee · 19/08/2024 00:45

I've just looked at that video again - it looks like Harry saved the day with his timely intervention 😳

Perhaps he knows the verdict of the visa case and this his why his behaviour has been up and down on this tour

https://www.thesun.co.uk/royals/29938264/prince-harry-visa-drugs-row-judge/

The photo of Harry - looks to me as if he’s asking himself how the hell did I end up like this? I see that look in a couple of other images from this trip. You could almost feel sorry for him if he hadn’t gone scorched earth on his family.

Mummyoflittledragon · 19/08/2024 05:56

I don’t think the VP was going to hit Meghan. She definitely wasn’t impressed and was quick to block all further physical contact.

I’ve read a few sites about etiquette in Columbia. From what I’ve gathered, the woman decides the level of contact eg she is supposed to extend her hand first for a handshake. Hugging seems fine between colleagues but I’m presuming this is people, who know one another well as hugging is considered to be rather informal and only appropriate in a more formal setting.

Perhaps this is what the VP objected to. Or it could be because of hierarchy. Higher status people choose the level of contact, not lower. And what isn’t clear from what I’ve read is if hugging is only appropriate between single sexes or mixed sexes.

In any case, in business settings, Colombians tend to be rather more formal. The advice being to follow the host’s lead. I presume the H&M visit will be viewed as a formal occasion. The site I read described kissing on the cheek (air kisses on one cheek only) to be considered very informal and not to engage lest there be any misunderstanding. Hugging is imo another level again of informality. So from the VP’s standpoint, the optics may have given the appearance that Meghan was hitting on her dh.

I can only imagine therefore the hug will have been a source of embarrassment for the VP. Having viewed the Sun video, it would appear the President is embroiled in a sex scandal. The last thing she is going to want is for the hug to be scandalised and this could account for the evasive manoeuvre.

Idk if it is the verdict or the tour. It is so ironic that he is doing the very thing he professed to hate. Idk if he is aware of the optics of the ‘tour’ and that it isn’t going that well. Or maybe this is bringing back the feelings he felt when a working royal. Whether or not he knows the verdict of the visa case, I would hazard a guess he’s remembering exactly why he wanted to escape royal life in the first place. He did say to Meghan ‘this is difficult Meg’ when they were drumming. And yes, wondering how the hell he ended up like this. Because this is just a cheap facsimile of where he was 5 years ago.

Skippingropes · 19/08/2024 06:35

Meghan saying this is ludicrious:

"So much of how I approach things is about less of the fight and how do we wash things over with love and kindness and generosity."

The crap about her daughter as well 'finding her voice', she's 3 ffs.

WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout · 19/08/2024 06:38

If that’s what Meghan said then she needs to practice what she preaches. 🙄

BalloonSlayer · 19/08/2024 06:52

I wonder if the stuff about not expecting her children to be silent is another dig at the Waleses. I am always impressed by the way all three of them stop chatting and lower their heads respectfully when required to - yes even Louis! - I think it might be trooping of the colour 2/3 years ago I am particularly thinking of.

That's an unbelievable level of arrogance, hypocrisy and lack of self awareness, isn't it?
The very opposite of how she lives!

Vespanest · 19/08/2024 07:13

I honestly believe that Netflix/agents have told Meghan she needs to improve her popularity before launching ARO as some of this meaningless crap and self indulgence in what could be an important message is the result of trying too hard. You can discuss your own perspective when talking about a cause but when your perspective overshadows the cause you’ve failed.

Crumpledfrock · 19/08/2024 07:48

I wonder if they have a debrief on how the tour went , I love to be a fly on the wall.

They hugged the VP on arrival - maybe her husband wasn't present then.
I really hate the way Harry sort of swoops in to hug. I'm trying to think if William is a hugger - I think he has done on occasion but generally not often and not in the swoopy way. I prefer non huggy Royals generally though obviously Diana was a hugger of babies and adults in distress. Is it more acceptable for a woman to hug? I think it is probably better for men to be less huggy. There shouldn't be an assumption everyone likes a hug, especially between the sexes.

Anyway it's an amusing and interesting clip to look at, shame there isn't a better view of it. Harry certainly sprung into action to protect M and defuse the situation.

Who will they debrief with? Themselves?

ShamedBySiri · 19/08/2024 07:52

I mean actual Royals almost certainly do a debrief with their staff and presumably men in grey suits and/or foreign office officials I would have thought.

But H&M don't have any of that apparatus behind them so....

Lifestooshort71 · 19/08/2024 08:01

And who'd be brave enough to deliver an honest debrief of this tour if they valued their job?

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 19/08/2024 08:05

Just watched the video and in all honesty I just think the VP whips round because she was looking elsewhere, then suddenly realises her guests have arrived. Hate the hugging, though. No-one needs loads of sweaty hugs from virtual strangers. I always think 'huggers' do it to dominate, rather than to show friendship.

That's probably why so many staff have left. They can't express any 'constructive criticism' at all.

I think that’s what happened too, even though that scenario is less entertaining 😆 and I absolutely agree that the hugging is performative and not a sign of a “warm” personality as some insist it is. Nothing means more than a judicious heartfelt hug at the right moment, but hugging everyone all the time makes it feel like something else is going on, or renders the hug meaningless
