It’s hard to keep talking how amazing she is and the good she does, when she nothing but self promotion.

Why don’t they actually do some good and highlight those issues? Is online safety really such a huge issue for children in Columbia?

No, it's nothing to do with anything, really. The VP invited Meghan (I'm guessing Harry just came along) because she'd seen her on Netflix.
It's an opportunity to have a pseudo royal tour, get some pictures and media interest, promote themselves, the usual.

The VP invited them because she is extremely unpopular at home and wants a newsworthy distraction from that. I don’t think it will plaster over the cracks on that administration at all.

Would agree, it would have looked much better with a capped or puffed sleeve t-shirt or blouse. She doesn't seem to like wrist length or short sleeve, but could have gone with an elbow length puffed sleeve or something.

Also Harry's slip-on shoes make me feel a bit ill 🤢

LOL. I have a very similar pair. I saved them when clearing out my Mother's wardrobe after she died. They were unworn and fitted. Not to my taste but comfortable so I use them for pottering around at home or driving if my intended shoes are not suitable.

I definitely wouldn't favour seeing DH wearing them.

i have a similar black pair. I use them on days when me and fourlegsnottwo are having an unchallenging pavement walk. (Need ankle support when anything is soggy/slippy/hilly). And they are comfy. Happy days.

It hasn’t even been covered in their newspapers. I fear that the pair may pivot back to throwing brickbats at the rf as that is the only way they can garner any attention. No one gives a fig about their fauxmanitarian efforts and Meghan looks ok in clothes but not great, so in the absence of merching they’ve got… Spare 2? Oprah 2? Meghan Tells All?

They appear not to have used him for this piece about his idol(s) though, and he's said hardly anything about any of the RF since naming Charles and Catherine as the "royal racists", so maybe he's no longer with them

This is a really interesting video of them at the welcoming reception, the commentator makes some really interesting points, it’s really worth watching and getting her view point as she knows about Colombian culture, Harry is very engrossed with the interpreter! and does appear to be taking it all in and looks engaged with what’s happening, Meghan on the other hand just sits with her usual rictus smile, laughing inappropriately and it all seems to go completely over her head.

Not to mention the clearly very new uniforms they put those photo accessory children into, you could practically see the packaging creases, I can only hope they allowed the poor kids to keep them and didn’t whip them off to return for a refund.
