She feels there are recipients far more fitting.

I think she speaks for many.

Pat Tillman gave up millions of dollars to serve his country while Harry gave up serving his country to make millions of dollars. Giving that award to Harry is an insult to Pat Tillman's memory.

Royals are meant to be handing out awards. Not receiving them.

Pity they couldn't be arsed to help or support the first black member of the family and instead did deals with the papers to blacken her name and brief against both meghan and Harry.

The RF bent over backwards to support Meghan . She spurned the offer of Sophie etc to help her . She was given a dossier of information which she didn’t open.
She was allowed to stay at Sandringham for Christmas - first unmarried partner to do that.
She was given a £32 million wedding despite being a divorcee . The future King walked her down the aisle .

I find it strange.

I mostly blame Harry for the debacle. He was the one who knew what it was like to be a working royal. He knew that other girlfriends hadn't wanted to deal with that life. He must have known Meghan didn't really understand what she was marrying into. He let her go on Oprah and say things that weren't true and the way he wrote about her in his book was weird. I think she is very normal for Californian actress/ celebrity types and he should have tried to help the woman he claims to love acclimatise better.
