I see the pair of them skipped the red carpet entrance. That alone tells me that they shy away from the reality of the world. They knew there was discontent, they feared anything public so they hid. Harry looked less than his usual jokey self and did put in an appalling party piece. Pat Tillman's widow did not look impressed. He was uneasy in general meanwhile Meghan was her usual look at me hanging onto him in photos. " you're not going to be able to edit me out" 🙄

Harry did less than 6 months in an actual war zone.

He didn't help found Invictus - the grunt work was done by others and he was given the role of 'front man', as it were, as a member of the rf.

I'm confused about the Pat Tillman foundation - whilst it up and why does his mother have no say on the awards?

I don't know the back story at all. I just had a quick look at the website and it doesn't seem to say though maybe I haven't dug deep enough.

When the mother of the soldier it’s named in honour of says he doesn’t deserve it, most people with a modicum of decency would voluntarily thank them for the nomination and say that they respectfully believe there are other far more deserving people.

Harry really needs to take a good hard look in the mirror at the person he’s become because his mother would be so disappointed in him.

Harry and Meghan are a pair of vultures snatching Pat's award against his poor mother's wishes.

Pat's widow never had his children, she remarried & is having children with her new husband. She shouldn't be managing this award. Pat's mother is the only person who is truly connected to him.

I'll take that as a joke - it was a childish misjudged folly of youth. Whereas the Duke of Windsor should have been hung like the traitor he was but he got the royal get out of jail free card cf. Prince Andrew. I'm going to give Harry an 8/10 for this outing.

As a Brit it's just jarring to see an HRH popping up at random paid for events and receiving awards for publicity.

HRHs give out awards and shine a positive light on the charities, they don't receive them.

As for the award, it just all seems so transactional. My dad often said that nothing worth having comes easy. Which this obviously has been. An award to celebrate the privileged for being privileged.
I agree that it’s obviously a paid for Mickey Mouse award, although even more so now that Harry has tarnished it’s legacy.
