@mycatisanarcissist -don’t be utterly ridiculous. Denis Thatcher always supported his wife - because she was the Prime Minister . You support the role .

There are occasions too numerous to mention where Meghan has pushed past Harry when he is the “lead”. Everyone notices.

@ItsNotAShopItsAStore Meghan, Phillip or Mrs Sunak are or were all at these occasions as the spouse. They are the support act, not the star. M just didn't get it.

She did this when she was a working member of the RF and I reckon this is part of her feminist shake up of the stuffy institution. However I wonder if she realises that it’s nothing to do with being a woman because Prince Philip dutifully spent 70 years staying 3 steps behind his wife. That’s the deal

Makes me laugh when we get accused of criticising a woman 'we don't know' when in fact, all of this behaviour is there on video for us to see. So many times Meghan pulls Harry away from people he's quite rightly spending time talking to. It looks so, so rude and embarrassing. She would never had made a royal!

There's a famous bit of video where the late Queen, Charles and Camilla and the P and Pss of Wales were supposed to process into a state room to view some kind of memorial. Harry and Meghan were supposed to wait at the door, and Charles approaches them to tactfully remind them to stay back until the senior royals have entered the room. But no, Meghan ignores his instructions and strides in anyway.

You can disagree with protocol etc, but that IS the deal if you're a member of the RF. Meghan just could not believe that someone was telling her she had to wait for others who took precedence. There was no way she was going to spend her life walking behind anyone, was there? It's Meghan first every time!!

Also - it sometimes appears that Meghan and Harry have a kind of code (back rubbing, certain gestures etc) by which she communicates here wishes to him in formal situations. I don't think he'd dare ignore her wishes, the wimp.

I often thought that was the big thing she wanted to change with the RF - the hierarchy with her nearer the top - I assume that why Harry started moaning about RF hierarchy as if he'd never been aware of it before.

I’m not royal (!) but even in the most humble settings you let the more “important” person go before you. If I am at a dh work do (groan) I stand back and smile pleasantly. I don’t steam in and start hugging business contacts. What a loon! Of course at anything I do, dh hangs back. This goes for family events too. I recently had a big family reunion. I can’t imagine dh leaping forward and elbowing me out of the way to hug long lost cousin Susan first.

On Twitter the Sussex Squad are apparently staging a coup for them to ‘take the crown’. It’s very amusing to watch them be told it doesn’t quite work like that unless they’re gonna murder William and his 3 kids. Until one of them tells someone who informs them how it works to go and die

Is that the investiture event where historical artefacts were displayed? Yes they not only charged ahead but didn’t look at the artefacts, they hung back and went to the next room before the others. Disgraceful behaviour in that context.

I watched the D Day service today which featured KC and Camilla. Macron and Mme Macron. It was a masterclass in protocol which did not demean the two women. This is a manners issue not a royalty issue.

If we are talking about their collective bad manners, my all time favourite moment was them clambering through the chairs at Westminster abbey in order to push ahead in the march out the abbey. Pathetic.

@SirChenjins yep. They had been disinvited from walking in the main procession of The Queen, W&K, C&C. So Meghan practically knocked a chair over to get behind William and Kate when it came time to leave, and not in the second procession like she was supposed to be.

My favourite is the balcony appearance at Trooping the Colour. The family all moved to block her moving to the front to be near HM as if they'd rehearsed it.

The Jubilee thanksgiving had them in the middle of a row (they arrived late so H asked everyone to move up and they didn’t) so no photo with any senior royals. Members of the security service were sat right behind them as well

What, the Trooping one? I'll have to do a YT trawl. I can't recall if it's 2018 or 2019 but there were some class moves going on.

That was cringeworthy! They were supposed to be on a coach with Zara etc but 'missed' it and when they eventually rocked up looked dismayed to be in the middle of a row near no one important (except the hot equerry behind them).
