Harry’s litigation

Harry has been mostly denied permission to increase the scope of his case against NGN. The judge has, quite rightly, allowed him to include new allegations of phone tapping and other accusations against private investigators and journalists. What he has not allowed is Harry to extend the timeline to include allegations around Diana or Meghan when she was his girlfriend. The judge also made disparaging remarks about Harry’s lawyers adding more and more detail, and going for “trophy targets”

Is Harry losing sight of what legal action should be for and becoming vexatious?

I think Harry’s behaviour since flouncing off shows just how much he was protected by the Men in Suits and other members of the RF. How much his image was managed.

Agree, it was clearly managed and done so incredibly well. Everyone thought he was the happy go lucky cheeky chap. In reality he was an entitled selfish bloke with a clearly low iq.

They managed his press, told him where to go and what to do when there, and mitigated all the bad press as far as they could. He was as protected as it got so the public didn’t see the reality of it. The royals and the staff clearly knew what a liability he was, and micro managed it and him. There was also clearly a reason he had to leave the army and it wasn’t security, they covered up the truth of why he had to leave.

this behaviour is not new, it is just the first time it’s been laid bare for the public to witness, and of course he’s married a woman who is as bad as him but in different ways, fame and money hungry, rather than someone who would talk reason into him, he got with someone who wants to hang out with a listers and pose in 50 thousand dollar dresses. The ultimate wannabe.

its such a mess for everyone involved that he’s now in the wild with a wannabe egging him on,

I would love to know exactly who was managing his pre- Meghan image. The team deserves some type of award.

I don't understand why Diana was brought into it?

Throw everything at it in the hope that something will stick and he gets the resolution he wants. His lawyers must be rubbing their hands. More court, more fees....

He’s paying out in the hope that he’ll get millions in compensation to fund his lifestyle. He’s running out of options for getting an income I imagine.

A very clever guy by the name of Edward Lane Fox. It was he who came up with the idea for Invictus and he remains on the Board of Directors today. I believe he now has some fancy job in the business world.

@IcedPurple He deserves a medal. Seriously, he must be a PR genius!

Viviennemary · 22/05/2024 15:31

Lost interest in his ridiculous court cases. Why cares about the pampered entitled brat.

TERFCat · 22/05/2024 15:47

The Diana thing is bizarre. I wonder if Diana's brother/ sisters and so on approve of this? Surely if the press had a case to answer against Diana, they'd have already perused it?

Definitely!

But life as a working royal is very controlled so Harry had limited opportunity to show what a petulant prat he really is. And despite his paranoia about the press being out to get him, in reality they were quite happy to go along with the jolly Captain Wales persona. Not anymore!

Bringing up Diana. Poor William having to listen to all of whatever this all drags up.

Meghan will need to sell a lot of jam .

The way Harry ( and even some posters) go on , you would think that only Harry lost his mother .

"Prince Harry turned down an invite from his father to stay at a royal residence earlier this month because of security fears, the Telegraph understands. If he loses his High Court appeal later this year, it's hard to see how this stalemate will be resolved".

“The Duke remains devastated about the withdrawal of his right to automatic police protection, which has become one of the biggest barriers to reconciliation with his father.”

The Duke sounds petulant and somewhat delusional frankly.

How can he say the protection at the King's Royal residence is inadequate? IMO he wanted Camilla not to be present and wanted to be able to film. And was told No to both.

It's like he thinks he is a greater security risk than the king

Exactly "but he was only a child" "his room was a dressing room" "his brother had special lessons with the Queen" while he got to grow up unfettered by the extras that come with being a heir to the throne more freedoms than his father and his brother ever had and doesn't it show

Well, Harry doesn’t have a lot to do so being a professional litigant and all-round Angry Man is something to occupy his time.

I know this isn’t very nice but he’s actually quite unattractive too. Really gone to seed.

Anyone who is “devastated “ by such a thing is obviously only concerned with their own first world problems

Never thought he was good looking. If he wasn't a Prince, Meghan would have scraped him off her shoe.

The biggest barrier to reconciliation with his father is that Haz is an angry petulant entitled dickhead who thinks the world owes him everything, and calling the lack of security a 'barrier' to reconciliation is emotional blackmail of the most despicable kind.

I wonder where he learned that tactic. 🙄

LaMarschallin · 22/05/2024 21:18

Maybe, if they go somewhere else that Meghan's genes are from, Meghan could be made a queen.
Then wherever she's queen of could provide security for her as one of their monarchs.
Oh! And for her consort, of course.

His only redeeming feature was that he was a prince. He's not bright, attractive or ambitious.

Now he's not even really a prince anymore.

It sounds awful but honestly I think Meghan will be heading onwards and upwards soon. She's too ambitious to stay with someone like Harry, especially when his usefulness has expired.

It won’t happen yet I don’t think if at all, I think they are the next Will and Jada they are a remarkably similar couple.

Abouttimeforanamechange · 22/05/2024 22:05

There was also clearly a reason he had to leave the army and it wasn’t security, they covered up the truth of why he had to leave.

I don't think there was necessarily anything untoward about that. He just wasn't likely to be promoted any further - the higher you go, the fewer there are at each rank, so not everyone can be promoted - and he couldn't stay on as a Captain because he'd be blocking the way to promotion for younger men coming up behind. That's fairly standard.

The Spencer men, with the exception of Diana’s brother (who is alright looking) we’re never really that attractive. Ruddy, stocky, red headed farmer types…not the attractive kind though. Earl Spencer’s son, Louis, is mighty good looking though. William doesn’t really look like them…although he does resemble Diana, he’s like his father.

the rest of us many favours when it comes to
justice.

Well done for fighting the good fight.

That’s not the purpose of the justice system. The purpose is to pay a debt to society but also to protect that society from future offending. There is. It real reason to keep excavating now, not on a societal front, future behaviour has been adjusted. But the courts, like everything, is also ultimately a game.
