The blush dress is extremely difficult to wear. Silk is so unforgiving, every lump and bump and any underwear shows. In that regards, Meghan wore it well. She has no lumps or bumps (I don't want to think about her or anyone else's underwear).
The colour, ironically (to me, at least) only suits the darkest of skins. Otherwise it's just too close to flesh coloured and looks "off" or meh. I can imagine it being the last remaining colour to sell.
The Joanna Ortiz dress has removable straps. It's the same dress as the Hertz gold dress, which I'm guessing also had removable straps and was midi-length. The gold one was indeed merching (it was no coincidence that they drove into the event in a motorcade (which they needed for appearances, and/or to give credence to the near catastrophic car chase which subsequently didn't ensue) which happened to alight at the Hertz office, which was emblazoned in the corporate colours. A couple of grand for the dress is 10 days' family car rental in Manhattan for Hertz, I think Hertz won that one). I'm pretty sure she will have received this one on terms too, she looked great in the gold one. This one was better suited to a beach location, not city wear imo and I don't think she did it justice this time.
My DD has skinny legs, like Meghan's (but without the short torso). She looks her absolute best in trousers, jeans, shorts. I think the same goes for Meghan. My DD does have a waist and bum and boobs too, but she's narrow so she looks like floor-length curtains in long dresses. I think the same goes for Meghan. She looks great in trousers (not so much shorts imo) and mid-length dresses with heels.
