So, presumably there actually were others to chat to as she doesn't seem to be taking any notice of her lunch companion there.

How sad is that - competing with a child ? Mind you there are articles that say this is why you never see her children. It wouldn't be about her then.

It’s a nice enough look, very Diana. I think she needs a slightly lower jean (I don’t think high rise looks good on her, it makes her look very boxy) but overall very simple and safe.

I LOVE the blue dress on the other lady, especially paired with the cute bag. It makes for a fun casual outfit. I can imagine wearing that outfit with a quirky pair of white trainers for a really modern, casual vibe.

Maybe she tries to direct everyone into position, not just Harry.

Her companion is Kimberly Williams Paisley, former actress (Father of the Bride franchise) and now an influencer/ momfluencer with a decent following on Insta and who has done collaborations with entities like QVC. I am wondering if a collab with ARO is in discussion.

Kimberly also runs a charity in Nashville (her husband is a country singer) where you can sponsor a family’s grocery shopping, so they can shop with dignity. She sounds like a hard working lady with good ethics.

It's still a false construct for publicity though, so you are right!

Diana had a penchant for costume jewellery which honestly worn by anyone else would have looked like something from Claire’s Accessories. It was a very ‘80s look.

M frequently models Diana images so it’s not unreasonable to make comparisons. You probably wouldn’t be complaining if the comparison was favourable.

A crisp white shirt and jeans looks ok on pretty much everyone. Especially if that shirt cost £245.

Or like many celebrities and even other royal members they are keeping their kids out of the spotlight as much as possible. But of course you have to make it about meghan being an attention seeker rather than it's just something most famous people do with notable and rare exceptions like the kardashians

Just living her best life as a mum, friend, celebrity, royal, investor, doing charitable works and being an employer who earns her own way in the world. Looks good too.

Yeah but... but they didn't keep Archie out of the spotlight originally. That may have been Harry's intention, but it wasn't long before Meghan was papped by Backgrid in Canada wearing Archie in the baby sling. Then they released things like that Christmas card with Archie front and center, and a Save the Children video of Meghan reading to him. As I recall, the latter was possibly released to overshadow coincide with some royal event or other. I think there were quite a lot of unkind comments made about his appearance (including some nasty comments about his lazy eye). And when the video was released, there was a lot of discussion about Meghan's slightly awkward interactions with him. I'm guessing that's why they decided to keep the children out of the public eye - and fair enough too.

As time goes on though, I imagine they may be waiting for a big reveal $$$. They are bound to introduce the kids to the spotlight eventually, possibly waiting for the chance to coincide with try to overshadow something involving George or Charlotte when they are teens and generating a lot of public interest. But that's just a theory.

They appeared in the Netflix reality thing . Archie was in his bath !

Plus it was interesting on the Platinum Jubilee weekend, when the royal children were visible, H&M released pictures of Princess Lilibet in the garden and at her birthday party.

Looking back at images of Diana, I'm struck by how Amazonian or statuesque, (or whatever description you like) she was. I know she went through a worrying VERY thin (ED) phase, but then settled more comfortably into being fit and healthy - but she was tall and a fine, strapping figure of a woman. Meghan and Catherine are very different in physique: both are very small-boned and incredibly slender - especially if you remember that the camera gives the illusion of being heavier than people actually are.

Someone on MN pointed out (rightly - but I hadn't noticed) that they're slender in different ways, though. Meghan has very long legs and a shortish body whereas Catherine has a long body. I suppose that's why the 'mom' jeans don't look as good on Meghan as other styles she's worn.

I think the 'mom' jeans don't suit Meghan because she is a boxy shape with no defined waist.

I usually think Meghan hits the right note with casual dressing but I think the white shirt looks a bit grim this time - sleeves would look better if they were properly rolled back and not just scrunched and the shirt itself looks a bit dingy. The look makes me think country walk rather than a restaurant lunch with a mate (who looks stunning).

Your faith in, and genuine enthusiasm for ARO is touching. I hope you will not be disappointed in any way.

More than 3 months after its launch we have yet to see any products other than some dog biscuits and a few jars of jam with squint labels .
Any update ?
Oh and African Parks ?
