I donโt think anyone on here has โwilful blindnessโ to Harryโs record of racism. Unlike everyone else in his family, including his proven racist grandfather, he has been willing to address it though.
I donโt like his rowing back from โracismโ to โunconscious biasโ because unconscious, or conscious, racism is racism.
I believe someone in that family spoke with concern about Archieโs skin color. But, like the rest of us, I donโt know who. The person who did it knows though, and theyโve sat quiet about it. Thatโs on them.
Letโs face it. This is the British monarchy. To think Harry is the only one who has been racist is โwillful blindnessโ imo.
Where did the idea that the RF had behaved in a racist way to Meghan come from? From Spare and from the OW interview, when they didn't have the guts to name the person/people they were accusing so that everyone came under suspicion.
They've since retracted.
It comes down to who you believe, and what agenda the accusers have. I'm very aware of the agenda M & H have and being perpetual victims is one aspect of it. The RF were delighted to have Meghan on board - it was a wonderful opportunity for them to modernise and widen their appeal. To say anything else is just crazy. As for the press and social media - that's a different matter - but it's not the fault of the RF. Fgs, look at how KC behaved at the wedding - he was wonderfully warm to M and her mum, and clearly wished the couple all the best.
Other family members may have seen through Meghan, and been less delighted but that's not because of her race but because of the behaviour she showed before the wedding took place.
