Except William, Charles, Andrew and Edward have also served time in the Armed Forces, Andrew also was deployed into an active war zone.

Exactly the same as many current and ex serving members of the Armed Forces.

The story of the bridesmaids dresses didn't come out until November 2018. There was no "leaked story about Meghan during her wedding". There's two different accounts, one given by proven liars. There is no "in fact". Just two different accounts, neither of which have come out of the mouth of Princess Catherine.

The security issues are a lot of nonsense. If Charles wanted to see Harry and the kids he'd cough up the money to cover the security costs. He's not exactly short of a Bob or two

If H. brought his family to visit the King at Windsor or Clarence House or Sandringham or Balmoral, they'd be included in the security arrangements for those places. That has always been the case.

The wedding story is ridiculous, a woman just given birth and a woman just about to get married infront of the whole world. It’s extremely plausible that they both cried through stress. There is no indication that Catherine leaked the story as there were plenty of witnesses. We know Meghan cried because Harry told us.

It's an unusual level of pettiness for a whole king and future king and their families to leak stories to the British press about another family member to score points.

With the scurrilous accusations of racism, H & M refused to specify to whom they were referring so that everyone fell under suspicion in the eyes of the world. Since then, they've both retracted these rash claims but it's too late, isn't it? The damage has been done - and you're proof of it since you seem unaware of developments since that ill-advised interview. Mud sticks, unfortunately.

Because of their behaviour over the last 4/5 years H & M will never be trusted by the RF again and, far from being petty, I expect the RF are adhering to legal advice with regard to any contact with them, family or not.

Again, it seems you've missed a huge amount of comment on this since the accusation was made.

I've read a couple of accounts, one from one of the tailoring staff who were there, and I know which one rings true for me.

Remember that it's crucial to Meghan that she is always the victim.

It was covered in some of the media trials. Stories that could only have come from the Palace. Read about the trials.

And when Harry visited Charles last time he did have security from the airport, I’m pretty sure Charles wouldn’t expect Harry to catch an Uber.

Charles won’t want Harry selling a health update on him and Kate to the US TV networks or Omid.

I don't care if they ever come back to Britain or not.

But are you seriously saying that the road from Heathrow Airport to central London, or wherever, is hazardous unless the Sussexes have an armed security escort? I think you massively overestimate their importance.

It's never been about the cost. It's the fact that Harry wants security that you just can't buy.

Even if Harry was willing to part with his money you can't just hire the Met Police, and that's what he wants.

Harry gets full security like he used to when he visits the UK on “business” (The Coronation etc) but probably didn’t for the 30 minute meeting he had with his father after the cancer news announcement. I’d imagine that Harry brought security for that.

Harry has organised a hotel and security for himself. Meghan and the children are not coming. Why would they? Charles is too busy to see them William does not want to. Kate is very ill. And other family members they want to see already visit them in their own home. So why drag two very small children on a long plane flight for no benefit?

He did get security on the way to see his dad because of the tight time schedule. Don’t know what he did in the way back though he seems to have survived unscathed, much like the other times he’s popped over here to attend trials etc

Harry isn’t unsafe in the UK. His problems are he doesn’t get the bells and who that make him look important and he doesn’t get to control the photos and narrative around his visit. I’ve often thought he conflates press attention with lack of security because of this.

We have no idea if he is safe or not. None of us are security experts.
