In the audio, the journo explains what happened when she referred to Kate as being thin.
William rang Tatler and The Daily Mail, arranged lunch with them and his staff to plant stories.
Camilla's niece who works at Tatler helped him twisted the true position to be favourable to William and Kate.

She says no British print media is allowed to say anything negative about Kate or William. The negative stories must be about Harry and Meghan.

Only today I read items from Women & Home, Daily Mail & Tatler & The New York Post (amongst others) sucking up to the Wales and insulting and/or degrading the Sussexes.

I’m not pro/anti either Wales or Sussex, however it’s impossible not to notice the bias in the press.

Slavery? I can hear a barrel being scraped. Here's an idea, if you are white with British or British American ancestry, have a look into your family and how they will have benefitted from slavery and colonialism (most white people in the British Empire did on some level). Then have a think about the reparations you need to give for all your handed down white privilege and the apologies you need to make for your ancestors being complicit in that system. Or, on the other hand, accept that awful shit happened in the past, and concentrate on making the present and future better, which does not include condemning and posthumously battering past generations who lived under a completely different value system, or whitesplaining racism to people who have actually experienced it, or propagating critical race theory that makes the situation a hundred times worse for people of colour.

@WhatAreThey I'm so glad you started this post it's so important. Everyone who likes the RF, on either side and Harry or William debate, must know that these stories planted daily hurt everyone . It's so obvious that there is a huge anti Meghan rhetoric still - and Kate is battling her own health issues so should quite rightly be left alone - but aside from that the media and in particularly the daily mail is actually making things harder for the Royal Family to gain positive traction because they keep beating up Meghan and Harry . They're not perfect but why keep going after them ? It backfires onto the rest of the Royal Family because this why they left - if they waved half a royal hand they could stop it - there is enough evidence to show deals can be done when they need to be - Camilla is the doyenne of this . The daily mud thrown at Meghan and Harry is thrown back at all of them

I can’t believe that some posters are trying to justify Philip’s racist comments as being “non-pejorative” or “a product of his generation”!

We have a family member by marriage in their eighties in rural Essex who makes racist comments which we all strongly challenge him on. It’s never, EVER acceptable is it?

William simply saying “we are very much not a racist family” doesn’t make it so, because half the people who are racist are not aware they are! That’s the whole point surely? And ignorance is no excuse anymore. Not with the existence of the internet, not if you are well travelled and privileged with access to some of the best quality education in the land.

Well said - you are right . Also to add William could have said something at the beginning when the press began their racist diatribe about Meghan . They were both heading up the " Stand up to bullying" campaign at the time but proceeded to do nothing of the sort.
