i think they know. They can’t not know. They’ve been called the biggest losers, fucking grifters, South Park did a whole episode on them, and dumped them, and as much as Netflix seems to be playing the game on appearing interested, I suspect they are also out bar the book/film. They are constantly derided for their actions. Kelly osbourne of all people called them a pair of tits. George clooney publicly distanced himself. They apparently wanted to utilise flamingo estate for the new website and the owners were not interested in working with them to the extent they got legal involved. They know about the bullying claims, the overwhelming bad pr. and of course Harry’s ridiculous and expensive legal battles. They spend each morning looking for any mentions of themselves on line.

So so many opportunities, wasted at every turn. I genuinely can’t understand how any one, can have been offered so many opportunities, have access to the best advise and support money can buy, and repeatedly ignore it and take the same misguided ill thought through actions repeatedly. For years.

And the writers' strike did seem like another stroke of bad luck as it screwed progress on Miss Havisham (was that ever a go-er, or just SM kite-flying?) and Meet Me At The Lake. But it's over now, and no reason for their not to be signs of activity on either/both. And heaven knows, they need a Netflix success this year before the deal expires.

I’m not sure I agree, I think Covid is a convenient excuse they used. People still worked but remotely. Everyone used teams or zoom . There was absolutely no reason for Covid to impact them. They could still have created content, interviewed etc. and the writers strike another one and it’s over 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it’s been pointed out that the film crew were there for the hospital not Meghan. So presumably she’s inserted herself for publicity whilst not spending any money herself.

And I'm pretty sure that she will have covertly recorded video footage of him at his worst - drink, drugs, angry etc - that he and the RF will NOT want made public.

@JJathome yes there is something of a stench of failure about them now isn't there? When they first moved to CA and they got all these amazing deals like Netflix and Spotify and Oprah - and Harry was given jobs as a spokesperson and after dinner speaking gigs - there was a lot of buzz around them and what they might have to say. But four years on, it's all fallen apart and their failures have been as public as their initial successes. Along the way too, they've clearly made enemies and, worst of all, they've become a laughing stock. South Park dedicating a whole episode to mocking them is devastating! And then the fucking grifters comment from Spotify and them being named the biggest losers of 2023 in the Hollywood Reporter.

As for Netflix, that was a five-year deal that runs until the end of 2025, so I suspect that Netflix is running down the clock at this point. What they really wanted was the Harry and Meghan docuseries, which they got, and which was as widely watched as you would expect. And that's always been M&H's issue - people wanted the royal tittle-tattle, but they didn't want whatever else they thought they were selling. So the docuseries and Spare were lapped up, dissected and pulled apart, and everything else has sunk without trace, soon to be joined, I suspect, by 'American Riviera Orchard'. Who came up with that name??? It's so twee. They should've just called it 'Montecito Mansion' 😆

I wonder if the two of them are aware of all this or if they genuinely think they’re doing really well . They appear to totally and utterly lack insight or self awareness. Harry seems to be fading into the background completely apart from Invictus. I wonder how he spends his days . Both of them must be so bored. We were dirt poor and didn't have such luxuries as these "lamps" that you speak of, but I remember distinctly that the moonbeam that shone through our tattered curtains, that my sister used to read by, was twice as bright as the moonbeam that fell on my bed.

I tried to figure out why the hospital visit looked different to the images of the other celebs shared by the hospital, I think its because it was more like 'an audience with the Duchess of Sussex' rather than the images shared of the likes of Kaia Gerber, which looked totally authentic.

There is a video of MM standing up in front of the 'audience' and beckoning for a wheelchair user to move closer, while she didn't move from her spot in the wide open space she was standing in, almost like a stage, it looked so wrong. I know it's only snippets of the visit, but those snippets made it look like it wasn't a very casual or welcoming environment, it looked so very formal for a visit to meet sick children.

Has Harry ever explained why his girlfriend/fiancé/wife had to pay for a sofa and he couldn’t?
