Given that the RF has a tradition of giving the naffest and cheapest and kitschiest Christmas presents they can, I have a strong suspicion they'd LOVE the cutouts and the mugs and the dolls.

Oh yes indeed. Things like teatowels and rubber gloves and one year I think PH gave a whoopee cushion. I suppose when you own one of the world's finest collections of art, going the other way when when present buying makes sense - what DO you buy the family that has everything?

The "thread" is OT ie talk about anything and anyone IMO judging by the posts I've glanced at today.

It has meandered at times. We’ve been talking about the way support was shown for them at the Easter service, by two women who brought cardboard cutouts of them.

Posters have expressed a variety of feelings and opinions an about that which lead to the current discussion about memorabilia.

Supposedly, the late Queen had one of those pillows that say "It's good to be Queen" that was a Christmas gift from someone. She kept it on a sofa.

Seeing our King on tv on Sunday was very encouraging.

I don't know what it is but I guess many people feel like me about people they know of via media for donkey's years, when they are unwell, our hearts go out to them
