Inevitable to anyone with any empathy at all. Charles was with his mother as she was dying, and had to deal with his selfish younger son arguing for his wife (who HM hadn't seen for several years) to be at her deathbed. I would think all of the close family would have been really pissed off, particularly as some of them were stuck on an aeroplane waiting to get up to Scotland while he pratted about.

I pointed out that he is now not trusted enough to know that his previously very close SIL is ill. That's what happened. He used to have a close relationship with his family and now he's told big news like that at the same time as you and me.

I’m saying that there may or not be a rapprochement in the future, we just don’t know. Families are strange, they can come apart and get together again for any number of reasons.
