I do wish she recovers and gets the peace she and her family need at this tough time.

I am not a royalist but I wish Kate well, in exactly the same way I would wish any other young woman facing such a diagnosis well.

@Zyq I think people should also look back at their criticism of William, who quite rightly decided to support his wife and children despite the really vile crap that people have said about him. Thank you for supporting him.

That poor woman. The RF asked that she be left to recuperate until Easter but she's been hounded and gossiped about. It's brutal. People learned nothing from how Diana was treated. I really hope she can be left in peace now.

No we didn't "need" an announcement, but people will always speculate when so little information was given. Prince Charles was very open about his diagnosis. I believe Catherine would have announced this regardless of the hounding. They receive a lot of money from the state and they know what they're marrying into. I'm not saying it's not awful, of course it is, for her and especially for the children, but the royal family has always received a lot of attention.

I would imagine it's because she now won't be back at work after Easter which was not going to pass without some form of explanation. Now it will be speculation about what cancer she has. She's given an explanation, leave her be. You don't need to know every detail.

She should never have been forced to make this, but the ghoulish hounding and trolling by a bunch of absolute twunts have obviously forced her.

And it's pretty obvious that there was minimal photoshopping of her face on THAT photo. And that it was her and William at the farm shop.

This whole tawdry episode of the online bullying of this women and her family has been appalling, and it's certainly been illuminating as to the true characters of certain people.

I agree with the social media comments but really what is awful is her breach of medical records.
