I actually hope this isn't true. It's one thing I've always admired of the Sussexes, that they have (generally) protected their children's privacy very effectively.

I hope its not related to the new commercial venture.

But when the likes of Scobie and Bouzy and the chat show guy, and the other WME clients, who all have public and commercial connections to them are spewing hate and rumours, thats when they should have personally stepped in and publicly distanced themselves

I’m drawing my own conclusions from that.

It's funny because Meghan and Harry have talked so much, so openly and about so many personal things. Not least being very critical of others, and invading their privacy, blowing their own trumpet and assuming a victimhood narrative. Meghan recently spoke about her online bullying. Yet on some things they're silent.

@BemusedAmerican - I know. She said absolutely nothing about Kate. She's not exactly kept schtum about her before.

I agree that she was absolutely correct not to mention Catherine in her bullying panel thingy.

She would have looked a bigger hypocrite, if that's possible, than she already does. All her be kind, make SM a safer place, is just lip service, in her case.

The less that comes out of her mouth about Catherine, William and their children, the better it is for everyone. They have said more than enough.

But they could have said they do not condone the things being said by the likes of Scobie, Bouzy, etc., everyone would know what they were distancing themselves from.

No, @Spectre8 , had Meghan referred to Kate in a supportive and kind way, I would have welcomed it. No criticism on that score.

It didn't take any time at all did it. As expected, theres no pause in the online hate. Busy saying the most nasty things to other posters while trying to paint yourselves as above speculation and nastiness. If you are here every day for years writing the nastiest things possible about Meghan, you really have no right to tell anyone else they should be ashamed of themselves for speculating about Kate. If you sit on the board for years on end writing nasty speculation, including about children, then you are part of the problem. A big part. It took minutes for posters here to use Kates illness to bash others, some of you seemed happy for the bad news, its just another opportunity to have a go at Meghan and anyone that doesn't join you in hating on her. Nobody paused for a second when she spoke about her suicidal thoughts and mental health. You haven't let up either, completely unconcerned if you would contribute to pushing someone over the edge. The whole point should be you never know what someone is going through, but it seems like you don't actually care about that if you think they deserve it.

Good point, @themessygarden - Meghan would have looked hypocritical. However, I think that ship has sailed.
It would have been a good thing to refer to Kate's ordeal, but I'm not in the least surprised that Meghan didn't.

They could also do her the courtesy of using her actual title and preferred formal name, rather than the belittling "Kate" to which their supporters like to attach a lot of adjectives and additional Ks. They want to use their titles as none working royals. How about affording that courtesy to someone who not only has worked flawlessly and without complaining, but who also hasn't walked away from the duty she knew she accepted when marrying in, because things have become a become a little hard.

You can address hate being used in your name without addressing the contents, it’s is something the likes of Taylor Swift has done, it’s not difficult. The harder trolls are the ones who are not in a team sport mentality. The Sussex Squad can easily be addressed with don’t spread hate in my name.

Spot on, @ArcaneWireless . The Sussexes are still royal, love being royal, want their children to be royal and venture on quasi royal engagements. They bloody love it! Just didn't like the set up in the UK. As you say. Billing.
