Photoshoot for the Sussex Children?

1000 replies

MrsFinkelstein · 21/03/2024 16:03

I actually hope this isn't true. It's one thing I've always admired of the Sussexes, that they have (generally) protected their children's privacy very effectively.

I hope its not related to the new commercial venture.

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Meghan Markle has photoshoot of Archie and Lilibet

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: The photo-shoot, at Prince Harry and Meghan's mansion in Montecito, coincided with the launch of Meghan's lifestyle and cookery brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Stop attacking this woman and her husband for deciding on how and when to reveal her cancer diagnosis.

Except I wasn’t attacking Kate or William for deciding how or when to reveal her cancer diagnosis @MrsFinkelstein

That dignity and grace, devotion to duty and never complaining has been branded as her being a "Stepford Wife". Of lacking in star quality and media friendly savvy. Of being dull and frumpy. Of not being a modern enough woman. We all knew who said it and who supported it.

Or, of course, it could be just dignity and grace.

As said upthread, it seems rare these days.

Maybe folk have forgotten what it looks like.

Christopher Bouzy, another Sussex mouthpiece, busy deleting his tweets. Another POS coward.

And a fraud.

I've not had either @smilesy . I am battling with indecision about the correct topping for a Brambly Apple hot cross bun. Sussex jam not an option.

Too early for cheese?

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 23/03/2024 10:01

Cheese @smilesy ! Cheese is timeless! Thank you x

AliceOlive · 23/03/2024 10:03

Anyone want to lay odds that Harry and Meghan join a cancer support group “because our SIL has cancer.” ?

Salemforcuddles · 23/03/2024 10:09

I wonder if this has made Harry reflect at all? I'm sure him and Kate were close at one point t

He said she was like a sister to him, didn't he? In earlier times. However, Harry doesn't seem to be one for self reflection, on evidence thus far.
Who knows.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 23/03/2024 10:18

The individuals involved in the hysteria need to take personal accountability for that. Kate took accountability for herself and didn’t throw a minion to the wolves, they would have been eaten alive by that frenzied Twitter mob, that’s earned her a lotof respect

Very much agree with this, though given the history of how the RF have treated the "married ins" I can see the point of those who feel Kate was hung out to dry

I guess we're just so unaccustomed to seeing any of them take responsibility for anything that it comes as a surprise when someone does

Hard to comment on trashy z listers backtracking since I barely know who any of them are and have Twitter blocked, but as with anyone if you spew nonsense all over SM it has a habit of coming back to bite you so my sympathy is limited

Salemforcuddles · 23/03/2024 10:20

@IsoldeWagner No he doesn't , shame really

IsoldeWagner · 23/03/2024 09:50

Plus William got some slagging off on here for pulling out of the Greek Royal Family memorial. That's when Kate got the diagnosis.

Which wasn't even a public event/something to do with his public role, so all the frothing about him pulling out was doubly egregious. Any excuse to kick him was seized upon.

Pretty sure H and M will find a way to make themselves the victims . Remember the day The Queen died - for Harry it was about him and about Meghan being told not to go to Balmoral .

AliceOlive · 23/03/2024 10:28

Why on earth would they issue a public statement? Again making it all about them.

ArcaneWireless · 23/03/2024 10:30

Mylovelygreendress · 23/03/2024 09:35

I see Twitter is in overdrive again . Sussex Squad incandescent that H and M ( apparently) only found out about the cancer at the same time as the rest of us . Disrespectful, petty , hurtful are the nicer words being bandied around .
According to Chris Ship ( has he apologised yet?) H and M have “ reached out privately “ to W and C . I would be amazed if they got past the switchboard.

I’m not on any other social media so I’ve missed that.

Given how much relatively private information Harry (and to a much lesser extent, Meghan) has shared over recent years?

If the chatter is true and they were told at the same time as everyone else, then that is unfortunate. Yes it is disrespectful and hurtful but not at all surprising.

You reap what you sow.

@Vespanest wrote this

Personally I feel Harry must be feeling like absolute shit, not pointing blame but because he’s human and his brother, SiL and nieces and nephews are suffering and there’s no relationship to process that, and knowing abuse is coming there way as well especially for Meghan

Meghan will undoubtedly get abuse. But most of the blame lies with the man who cause hurt to his family. Betrayed the trust of his family.

And yes, I think he will likely be feeling awful because there is unlikely ever to be a way back.

I wonder if he has regrets and, with the luxury of time and a bit of reflection, he wishes that he’d done things differently.

themessygarden · 23/03/2024 10:34

Gwyneth Paltrow, has posted her own comment on the video of Kate, 'A pillar of grace and strength, sending love'.

The whole world is behind Kate, from heads of state to A list celebrities.

ArcaneWireless · 23/03/2024 10:39

I also don’t understand why H&M seem to continuously surround themselves with people who do them no favours whatsoever.

The latest with OS and WME just presses that point home. Living in a whirling maelstrom of nastiness - whirled by those who should have your best interests at heart but clearly just don’t - must not be fun.

I don’t know if they are happy with that or are wondering what the bloody hell they have to do to escape it.

I think until they do, they will not only be figures of ridicule but will become figures of scorn.

Salemforcuddles · 23/03/2024 10:44

I think at first they wanted people on side, people who would tell their version of events

However, as they have found to their cost, these people are monsters and are unmanageable. They also have a tendency to turn on you as they have no real loyalty and are only out to benefit themselves

Puzzledandpissedoff · 23/03/2024 10:44

Impossible to know, ArcaneWireless, but as with those they associate with he's chosen his bed to lie in and will just have to get on with it

Also agree with you about not blaming Meghan for absolutely everything. Certainly she's made some bad mistakes, but she's not responsible for someone who's got a tongue in his own head and can use it when he chooses

Wise words too, which so many have used from the start ... sell your soul to the devil and it can often be found that there's no refund available

Salemforcuddles · 23/03/2024 10:49

They need to be very careful with their next move

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 23/03/2024 10:54

They could start with telling the SS to STFU. But they probably won't.

The type of people they surround themselves with speaks volumes about them and their own character. They have never once spoken out to contradict or set the record straight about anything their lackeys say, however nasty.

IsoldeWagner · 23/03/2024 11:09

@Seizethedog - never once. Even those dreadful accusations of racism still peddled by Scobie.

themessygarden · 23/03/2024 11:09

I agree, as they have said publicly 'silence is complicit'.

To be fair, they can't do much about anonymous supporters on Twitter, and it would be futile anyway.

But when the likes of Scobie and Bouzy and the chat show guy, and the other WME clients, who all have public and commercial connections to them are spewing hate and rumours, thats when they should have personally stepped in and publicly distanced themselves from them, because now it is truly a case of 'silence is complicit'..
