TMZ Producer says it ‘might not’ be Kate!

So after days of so many of us saying it is not Catherine, and being screamed at, shut down and called ‘crazies’ and ‘trolls’ and all kinds of offensive names. It turns out we were right after all. It does not appear to be Cathrrine (no shock there for many of us) According to the producer that beamed this out across the world. Clearly unverified. Incredible that the news outlets just went along with it - no questions asked. What does that say about the quality of our journalism?

It was a huge gas lighting exercise.

So now we know we have one fake Mother’s Day photo and now one fake farm shop footage - it begs the question in a much more pressing way - where is Catherine? The stupid memes have to stop. This isn’t funny or anything to joke about.

No one can verify even a single shot ( I am discounting the photo of Pippa in the car with Carole, and someone’s head in the car turned away in windsor)

I don’t believe we are going to see Catherine this Easter or at any time soon. I don’t know where she is, or what has happened to her but I feel extremely worried for her.

I await Kensington Palace’s statement - it’s about time we learnt the truth. How can it be any worse than what has been speculated?

What will happen next? As this can not continue any longer.

She has had surgery on her abdomen, as far as we know her mental health is fine. Why are you trying to start new rumours?

• What gives you the right to question medical treatment (especially as you work in a hospital, apparently)
• why didn't you post in the RF forum, where you can share bonkers theories with like-minded conspiracy theorists who believe they have a god-given right to publically comment on people who have nothing to do with them?

I love this. Someone takes a video of 'someone'. They say it's Kate. TMZ buys the video footage and publicises it. Then TMZ says they're not actually certain it's Kate.

The conclusion drawn is that KP are hiding something.

How can that be logical? One of two things is true:

1. It isn't Kate. KP never said it was Kate. KP didn't release the footage. KP has not lied.

2. It is Kate. KP never released the footage. KP has not lied.

Either way it has no bearing on their statement that she won't be working until Easter.

Genuinely sorry for your loss but there are victims of all this trolling and it needs to be shut down. It’s not the posters replying who are having an effect on anyone’s mental health, it’s the trolls themselves. You only have to look at the shit going on on YouTube. Every day there are new batshit stories about William, his supposed affair and his ‘love child’ to another woman, and every day people actually buy into them. Do you not think that’s more damaging for all concerned ?

Of course not. The royal family survive solely on the basis that they have public interest. They can’t pick and choose what that interest is. And if they stopped putting out doctored photos and grainy videos this would be solved in seconds.

I think this thread highlights the quashing of truth, of pp interested in knowing the truth and the levels some are going to protect themselves. Even though in many cases Ken Palace, BBC, TMZ and everyone else were happy to peddle the lies when it suited, now it’s nothing to do with them suddenly.

They've never said she's going to make a big all singing, all dancing appearance on Easter Sunday. Just that she'd be recovering until Easter. She may well not appear until several weeks afterwards. That's fine. I'm sure we'll survive.

So TMZ see the original footage, decide it’s real and pay £200k for it. They need to maximise their exclusive to recoup the £200k, how better than deciding on a second look it’s not real which generates publicity.

Either they are crap at due diligence or they know how to make a profit.

I wouldn't wish harm on her from a human point of view but on a practical level it makes no difference to me how she is. The pictures are an irrelevance.

She's being criticised and harangued for weeks by the media and certain sections of the public. She's been accused of lying about her health. She's had TV hosts in America spewing awful rumours about her marriage. She's had THREE so-called health professionals try to access her medical records, presumably with the aim of sharing them publicly via an unscrupulous foreign tabloid (the UK ones actually wouldn't dare touch them). How on earth could her mental health be fine amid that pile on? Would yours be if you were her? She doesn't need to read every word or see every article to know what's going on. She'll know.

I am old enough to have lived through the public & media obsession with Diana . It was appalling and seriously damaged her mental health . She was literally hounded to her death . This crazy obsession with our current Princess of Wales is reminiscent of the 80s/90s hysteria that we witnessed with her MIL
KP has told us that Kate has had surgery and will be absent from public duty for 3 months .
