TMZ Producer says it ‘might not’ be Kate!

So after days of so many of us saying it is not Catherine, and being screamed at, shut down and called ‘crazies’ and ‘trolls’ and all kinds of offensive names. It turns out we were right after all. It does not appear to be Cathrrine (no shock there for many of us) According to the producer that beamed this out across the world. Clearly unverified. Incredible that the news outlets just went along with it - no questions asked. What does that say about the quality of our journalism?

It was a huge gas lighting exercise.

So now we know we have one fake Mother’s Day photo and now one fake farm shop footage - it begs the question in a much more pressing way - where is Catherine? The stupid memes have to stop. This isn’t funny or anything to joke about.

No one can verify even a single shot ( I am discounting the photo of Pippa in the car with Carole, and someone’s head in the car turned away in windsor)

I don’t believe we are going to see Catherine this Easter or at any time soon. I don’t know where she is, or what has happened to her but I feel extremely worried for her.

I await Kensington Palace’s statement - it’s about time we learnt the truth. How can it be any worse than what has been speculated?

What will happen next? As this can not continue any longer.

Of course 'they' couldn't 'collectively abolish the monarchy'.

That's not how a Constitutional Monarchy works. It's the system of government in the United Kingdom unless the people and parliament decide otherwise. It's not up to members of the current ruling house.

No, and I doubt Harry would agree to it.

Your going to look a total twat when Kate is fully recovered and back.

She is the mother of three children I think I might be delighted she is safe and well. You are on your last chance in terms of rule breaking.

And frankly, even if William wanted to step away with his entire family, I doubt he’d do that to the UK. Can you just imagine? Netflix and Kardashians everywhere.

It is an interesting thought. Kate could be negotiating her way out - it would explain KP strategy to hang her out to dry and William doing nothing to protect her and in fact throwing her under the bus. No wedding ring.

"No theories. No guesswork. No tin hats required."

🤣🤣

WibblyWobblyJane · 21/03/2024 19:20

He couldn't do that anyway. If he were to abdicate his position in the LoS, George would be next in line, and then Charlotte and Louis.

"ruling house" you say but there will never be another royal family, they are it. It is next to impossible for any other family to take over the throne. I personally don't believe this family has responsibility until the end of their lineage to be the British monarchy. They absolutely could permanently disband and absolve the entire system and hand back their public properties and whatever else and everybody else would have to work something out wouldn't they. But they absolutely could if they truly wanted to. Kings gave abdicated. Others have refused the throne. They have autonomy and they have the power to refuse to play ball if they don't like it.

Yes! the fake op, the coma, the cuff, the blurred fingers. It's Kate's cunning plan to leave. I mean seriously, she'd just leave wouldn't she?!

We have a constitutional monarchy and a line of succession. Each member of the entire royal family would have to abdicate in turn, or the government would have to abolish the monarchy. The king doesn’t have the power to say, ‘Right, that’s it, no more kinging for any of us!’

Yes, Kings have abdicated. Edward did. But the monarchy remained. The system of government in the United Kingdom is Constitutional Monarchy. The clue's in the name. It's not a United Republic. Even in the unlikely event that every member of the House of Windsor simultaneously agreed to take themselves out of the LoS, the throne would pass to someone from another family.

So no, they couldn't "absolve the entire system", whatever that means. The 'system' existed for centuries before the House of Saxe Coburg und Gotha took the throne.

It's a bit like saying that if Joe Biden resigned and the Democratic Party dissolved itself, the United States would cease to be a Presidential Republic.

Systems of government go beyond the current incumbents.

In this day and age if all stepped back I don't think the monarchy would survive. Does anybody want a new family of royals? I truly don't think they would be accepted and it would be the end of the monarchy in the UK. The point still stands, that every single person in that family could step down from the limelight and remove themselves from royal duties and go private. William Kate and the 3 kids could choose to leave if they were so absolutely hounded they couldn't cope with the troughs that come with their huge peaks.
