So after days of so many of us saying it is not Catherine, and being screamed at, shut down and called ‘crazies’ and ‘trolls’ and all kinds of offensive names. It turns out we were right after all. It does not appear to be Cathrrine (no shock there for many of us) According to the producer that beamed this out across the world. Clearly unverified. Incredible that the news outlets just went along with it - no questions asked. What does that say about the quality of our journalism?

It was a huge gas lighting exercise.

So now we know we have one fake Mother’s Day photo and now one fake farm shop footage - it begs the question in a much more pressing way - where is Catherine? The stupid memes have to stop. This isn’t funny or anything to joke about.

No one can verify even a single shot ( I am discounting the photo of Pippa in the car with Carole, and someone’s head in the car turned away in windsor)

I don’t believe we are going to see Catherine this Easter or at any time soon. I don’t know where she is, or what has happened to her but I feel extremely worried for her.

I await Kensington Palace’s statement - it’s about time we learnt the truth. How can it be any worse than what has been speculated?

What will happen next? As this can not continue any longer.

OP why should they run to issue a statement every time there’s a tiny bit of fake news?

Kate has had abdominal surgery, she is taking 3 months out on medical advice to recover, and will be back mid Easter at work after the school holidays, and is recovering well. All very normal.

They were not silent. It is well known they only put out formal statements for serious matters, everyone else comes from a palace source. Which is the palace itself. The palace source said before the footage actually came out she was at the farm shop and just prior to that an event at her kids school. Witnesses who saw them said they bought two loaves of bread. They hav security behind them. They then said they are working on an expedited plan to get her back to work due to her recovering well. Yes she has lost a significant amount of weight due to her surgery, and yes she was dressed down and not heavily made up.

It seems that sone posters were waiting for this story to break on here, and had their agenda to discredit everything immediately including the BBC and other major broadcasters merely to gossip outlets.

Given how contentious this subject is surely the BBC and others should have been prudent and had the footage at least verified before running with it as ‘fact’?

Kensington Palace are under no obligation to provide reassurance to you because your media diet is trash. They made a clear statement about when we could expect to see Kate again and we're not there yet.

The broadcasters are making good money out of all the speculation because people like you think the RF is public property.

What about Kate’s children? Do you think they’re oblivious? Maybe the younger two, but George is old enough now to at least have some awareness of news, and they’re all in school, so it’s likely they will have heard gossip and speculation from kids at school.

I just don't get this entitlement. I really don't. She had an operation. She's on medical leave until after Easter. She is not obliged to trot out like a performing monkey just because the public demands it. Instead, what should have been a time of rest and convalescence for her has been turned into an appallingly stressful time because a certain section of the public refuses to be patient and let her recover.

There's only one charade in all of this.

I've resisted posting on these threads because I genuinely believe that Kate is just poorly and recovering from an op. The photoshop fail was understandable- she wanted to get people off her back.

As for this footage, my first thought was that it doesn't look like her. But how many times have we seen Kate genuinely "in the wild" without some kind of professional grooming etc. Of course she will look different.

If I was Kate I would be stubbornly refusing to give the public what they want because I have a right to privacy. However she probably would make life much easier if she just made a statement.

Real mental health is the impact of the constant trolling on Kate. It’s already been reported her and William are distressed by the frenzy and conspiracy theories. The pressure being put on them to have this woman return to public duty whilst still recovering.
