The Sun journalist did a live to camera piece yesterday which panned around the complex - decorations clearly visible in the huts in the background.

Where? I can’t see them.

Severalwhippets · 19/03/2024 12:00

No sign of tinsel or the hanging decorations seen in the video

Serenster · 19/03/2024 12:01

Sigh. On the tiny chance that’s a genuine question, there are two wooden huts in front of the white tented-roof structure on the right hand side of the picture I posted above.

if you enlarge the picture to focus on the two huts you will see the hut on the right has the distinctive decorations along its roofline, along with something hanging down from the ridge of the roof. Exactly as depicted in the video taken on Saturday.

I think that often the phrase that the most simple explanation is often the truth is relevant here.

I do think that it's her and it's great that she looks well, here's hoping that despite all of the chaos and noise that she's actually ok and will be back to normal soon.

If you zoom in closely enough you can see Lord Lucan

Kensington Palace have confirmed it is them in the image and video.

I am really happy personally to be ‘convinced’ this is Kate. I am open to changing my mind. However this woman has a different face shape, eye brows, jaw line, ears and nose. Her teeth are also different and she is thinner and taller than Kate. Her gait is different. No one is taking any notice of them at all, which is unthinkable given the media coverage of Kate atm.

I don’t think anything within the realms of surgery that could have happened in the last two months to have reconstructed her entire face - with no scars at all on show.

It also looks nothing like William.

It’s not about CT or imagining they have sent ‘body doubles’ etc. I just don’t think it is Kate.

Edited

Kensington Palace have confirmed it's them but feel free to prove my point by not believing an official statement.

SparkingCuriosity · 19/03/2024 12:22

I cannot understand anyone (unless they are actually deranged), still trying to say that this is not the Princess of Wales. If you watch the video it is obviously her - how she looks, her mannerisms, how she walks. It is beyond batshit at this point to persist with these conspiracies.

And to suggest she should be working. God knows what medical issues she has dealt with and is currently dealing with. I had serious spinal surgery and was signed off work for 3 months. Guess what, I took three months off. In that time I went to the shops. Being able to go to the shop is not at all similar mentally or physically as returning to work.

I think a lot of people will feel very silly when she returns after Easter and reveals even part of what medical issues she has been dealing with.

FloreatEtona · 19/03/2024 12:23

@SparkingCuriosity , I hope your back is better now.

Kensington Palace has been taken over by alien squirrels from the planet Tinsel, in the constellation of Datchet-1. Don’t believe what they say.

SparkingCuriosity · 19/03/2024 12:47

@FloreatEtona Thank you yes!

I think a lot of people who are saying, look at her - she is walking freely and smiling she should be back at work have never been seriously ill or injured. If they had they would not be so dismissive. Two weeks in hospital post surgery is a very long time, it must have been incredibly serious. Just the trauma of going through something like that is immense - never mind the physical recovery. She has not misled anyone, she said she needed this time and she is taking this time.

I really do think we will collectively look back at this period and think, god why were so many people such massive dicks.

And presumably the BBC because it is on the news channel :)

I think this whole thing has brought into the public arena how toxic and detached from reality many corners of social media are.

It isn't a new thing, when I was on twitter there were posters absolutely convinced Meghan was never pregnant, and that was a mild conspiracy compared to some.

I hope that things change but I'm not holding my breath.

Acornsoup · 19/03/2024 12:54

Should probably be more concerned about why the DM, Sun, BBC and Sky are distracting the sheeple Glitterball

SparkingCuriosity · 19/03/2024 12:58

@MrsLeonFarrell I have seen some of those posts on twitter. Some people even suggesting that Harry and Meghan's children don't even exist. I agree with toxic elements of social media, it is out of control and dangerous.

sparkellie · 19/03/2024 13:19

Now with comparison photos. (At least it’s helping to establish why you persist in claiming that’s not Kate - have you thought about getting your eyesight checked?)

@SparkingCuriosity , you went through that in private without having your employers wanting a slice of you, judging you and making up stories about you and your marriage. Not that I am trying to lessen what you went through at all. All surgery is serious.

If I had any surgery, the last thing I'd want would be for it to be the subject of idle speculation.

Franker · 19/03/2024 13:27

I think Kate did have abdominal surgery. However, the vacuum of information, the dodgy photo with replaced head, the grainy car photos, turning her head away in the car with W, and now reappearing looking very... different...it's hard not to consider the possibility that the extended leave is connected to some kind of cosmetic surgery that took place during the same period.

If it is, it will undoubtedly be denied by half the country, put down to post-surgery weight loss by others, everyone will be screeching LEAVE KATE ALONE for another 6 months.

Headline on the BBC News at 1pm.

GreenClock · 19/03/2024 13:35

I really dint think it’s cosmetic surgery. I think that if it turned out that it were something trivial like facelift that had caused her to skive since mid-December, and William had shirked for more than three months in sympathy, taxpayer goodwill would dry up quickly. They know this. Surely they’re not arrogant enough to believe that it would be ok.

Also, if I were elderly Camilla or Anne picking up the bulk of the work in Charles’ (justifiable) absence whilst that pair chilled out at home for a silly reason like that, I’d be leaking the truth like a sieve tbh.

I think she’s been genuinely unwell. Whether mental or physical or a mix of both, who knows. She’ll divulge the story if and when she feels ready.

As for the footage, I thought it was her but changed my mind. But that’s just one person’s opinion. Other opinions are available and are no more or less valid.

Her job isn't hard. If she can be walking round a farm shop, she can be back at work.

I think uou should write to the British medical journal giving them your expertise here on return to work advice. I’m sure they will be grateful for, your considered opinion.

Quite. I do hope this poster is not an employer. A successful employee grievance is just waiting to happen!
