Press statements released by KP, I imagine. Combined with Prince William being photographed visiting the hospital she was reported to be in, it being guarded by police for the duration , and her PA being spotted driving out of the hospital the day she was announced to have left.

And before you start saying that’s not good enough, there is literally no evidence for it being anything else.

If she's well enough to watch her children play sport or go to the shop, she's well enough to get back to some work via Zoom. There is something going on or she's lazy.

I think I’d like to see all the evidence for breakdowns/comas/affairs/separation/death/facelifts/moon landings and all the other pish that has been claimed on here first …

If she was ill, needed medical attention, an operation and time to recover, then why should anyone doubt it until there is actually anything actually concrete to make us believe otherwise?

Privacy is her right when it comes to medical issues. That is the long and short of it.

It is a right we should all have.

Unless anyone wants to regale us with the time they got knob rot in the army, an infestation of crabs in Magaloof , the time they broke their leg participating in the biggest conga world record attempt or sneezed and popped out an eyeball or overshare stories of the worst periods in the world in graphic detail - with your name and address attached so we can all see you - then I can’t see the need to hound someone who has requested privacy.

My original comment, which I hope we can agree on, is that the front page of the Sun is unjournalistic flim-flam. Which is noteworthy in the context of confected images already having been released, and you have to wonder why this was done. It seems to be treating the public in bad faith.

If I was running the PR machine at KP, it would have went like this.

I would have advised my people, to either share everything re your health or nothing. If nothing was the way forward, then there would be no "named sources, friends, those close to..." etc etc

Most will agree if the media and the public was advised that HRH was not going back to public duties until at least after Easter on docs advice, you would not have this fiasco.

Most people, reasonable people like me and you would have accepted that

She won't appear at Easter. It's less than two weeks away and she wasn't at the Irish Guards event, which is hardly demanding, this weekend.

After Easter, it'll be all 'oh, it's the kids' school holidays, you can't possibly expect her to show her face'. That will buy her another fortnight.

KP have already said she won't be at an event in June. They said 'she'll be back after Easter' without ever hinting at WHEN after Easter.

Then it'll be the summer holidays, and apparently expecting her or Will to do any work in July or August is totally outrageous.

I don't think she'll appear in any meaningful way (as much as anything she does is ever meaningful) until the autumn. She'll do a handful of things then be off for Christmas.
