Shamefully starting a new Kate related thread for the fellow people like me who are so far down the rabbit hole they need to talk it out with fellow tin foil hat wearers 🤙 I want to know.. what do you think? Where is she? The wild theories? Will she make the Easter Day service? What the hell is going on over at KP? I think she's seriously ill and will be stepping back soon. I've got popcorn and I've got alllllll night, let's dissect.

Her uncle was on Big Brother recently and seemed positive about her. I don’t think he would have been if she was really ill or getting divorced.
I am not a royalist but have been a bit intrigued by all of this. I expect though, this is a media distraction from something else. Don’t know what though.

@TitusMoan The Independent newspaper which is famous for not covering the royal family, let alone apparently inconsequential members of the aristocracy, published a bland article about Rose Hanbury two days ago. It was such a departure of style and content for a serious newspaper and no explanation was given in the article as to why they had chosen to profile her. Of course the online comments were very explicit and I guess that’s what the newspaper was hoping to elicit.

I think King Charles is seriously ill and other stories are being created as a distraction.
I think Kate has had an attack of Crohns (or similar) had a stoma and is hoping to have it reversed. She’s on steroids and looks puffy, and given how vicious people are she is staying away. The press know but are livid and trying to up the pressure to spill about the King’s health by taunting Kate.

That actually sounds quite a plausible explanation and more plausible than my daft thoughts.

My daft thought was that she had gone for a tummy tuck, not that I think she needs one but 3 babies, her image, and own self-confidence, might mean she wasn't as confident in her body as she'd like to be.

Pp are conveniently forgetting that William AND Kate have created this shit storm themselves. Opaque and strange messaging at the beginning. Fake photos produced with no wedding ring. Pulling out of a memorial. A golden opportunity to show the world they are a happy loving couple squandered, fuelling rumours as Kate decides to turn away and William looks at his phone.

Forgive me but this is all manufactured by them. Kate took far far too long to publish a message of thanks to her well wishers. What is anyone in gods name supposed to think?

Kate won’t be wheeled out smiling ear to ear at Easter, and if she were do we really expect the public to buy it? And just ignore all of this deceptive behaviour? If it just boils down to contempt for the public - and it might, that is a very bad decision.

You can’t ‘train’ the public to care and fawn when it suits you - baby births, expensive coronations and a royal life style paid for by us, and then have a totally private life for 6/8 months of the year accountable to no one, it doesn’t work like that.

To me whatever happens, this feels like the beginning of the end of the royal family as we know it. As many of us feared when we lost the Queen.

What has happened over recent weeks is very different from what has happened previously with William and Kate.

It was only a few years ago that Kate did photo calls outside of the Lindo Wing within a few hours' of giving birth.

What has happened to cause this change? There is clearly a lot more to this than cack-handed PR.

Clearly there’s a massive lie being told.
The unexplained and very unspecific, not planned, planned surgery. They were happily talking about the Kings prostrate and now his cancer. There is no way a real emergency or serious health problem wouldn’t have been shared. So that leaves other reasons for going to hospital that they don’t want discussed.
Who says it’s Kate wishes to remain private? Could she tell the truth even if she wanted too?

Just perhaps when she had surgery it was more complicated than expected.

But it is none of our business.

You can argue it is but it isn’t.

She isn’t head of state as the King is.

She has no constitutional role.

She is entitled to keep her medical information confidential.

What I hope is going on: Kate has said she wants out, and emergency negotiations are going on. She emerges in May with the kids, a new life and a handsome divorce settlement.

What I think is going on: a kidney transplant (hence long absence and visible steroid face), caused by complications of either an overdose, or a long-term eating disorder.

Whatever it is, it must be something damaging to the Royal Family, otherwise they'd have announced it.

Why would they need an emergency negotiation? Divorce settlement would have been hashed out LONG ago given the Diana contretemps.

Do they do kidney transplants at the hospital she was at?

And whatever is going on they haven’t announced it because her medical information is private and she’s opting to keep it that way. Private doesn’t equal damaging.

Actually, it’s already been ruled as non-suspicious and there are no further investigations.

This poor woman is trying to keep her medical details private, William is trying to protect her, in a way he couldn't protect his mother from the gutter press, I find threads like this in very poor taste. Leave the woman alone.

Even if it is something in her private life, she needs to be left alone. This level of scrutiny reminds me of how irregulated the press were in the 90s.
