Kate is very lucky she has such a tight knit family who have her back.

What I don't understand is how the truth hasn't leaked out via the children. They must have been told what's going on. All it takes is for Charlotte to tell her best friend, the best friend to tell her mum, the mum to tell her husband, the husband to have a few and tell the pub... it just snowballs. They surely can't insist that the children don't ever mention their home life to anyone at school, and even if they're trained not to, they're only little, and having a highly stressful time, and no doubt being pestered by classmates about it. I can't imagine being able to keep schtum in their shoes.

'Planned procedure' just means someone isn't operated on the second they reach the hospital,could be the next day.

I feel for Kate . When she appears after Easter , she will have her usual wide smile , but no doubt she will be cringing from all the unwanted , unfounded crap surrounding her .

What I hope is going on: Kate has said she wants out, and emergency negotiations are going on. She emerges in May with the kids, a new life and a handsome divorce settlement.

What I think is going on: a kidney transplant (hence long absence and visible steroid face), caused by complications of either an overdose, or a long-term eating disorder.

Whatever it is, it must be something damaging to the Royal Family, otherwise they'd have announced it.

I domt believe for a minute the kate has had surgery line. No leaks ie my cousins best friends mothers aunt saw her arriving at the hosp type thing.

I dont believe for one second she doctored that photo or that even william took it.

No wedding ring.
No sighting of her since christmas.

William appears a moody petulant spoiled man child if hints and leaks are to be believed over the years

Charles diagnosis mustnt be great possibly life limiting like for eg chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. You can live long years with that but its still limiting

The gossip around stomas like where did thay come from!! Abdo surgery could be a brewing appendix.

Also totally unconnected to kate gate but omg thomas kingston had a gunshot wound to back of head. Why is that not fully investigated by police. Its all v v v weird

I don't think she's seriously ill, since she's the fittest person I have seen for a long time.
I'm not "unfit", but wonder how the heck she does it.
It's difficult.

Has anyone considered the overwhelming unlikelihood of someone in the royal family being taken by road ambulance from Sandringham in NORFOLK to London in a medical emergency?

Also the notorious video clip doesn’t show an ambulance. It shows a car and a police car, in London with no evidence it was a RF member or that it came from Sandringham. It’s made up.

What? I'm not a gossip monger. I don't have any particular theories about what's going on, or terribly strong feelings about any of it. I'm only mildly interested as there's so much speculation. I'm not suggesting there's some great mystery that needs solving, only surprised that it hasn't come out, through the children, that 'a source with inside information has clarified The Princess of Wales is suffering from Crones disease' for example.

Noone wants to pry over cancer patients and enjoy popcorn, that's not what the thread is about.
