Not sure about the ambulance but I think the rest is true. The press will get more clicks if they ditched their deal with the Royals and printed what they knew. William needs the press more than the press need his cooperation. They are making money out of pitting the brothers against each other. Who is Kathryn?! I understand the forelock-tugging crowd like to refer to her as her Catherine rebrand or HRH or PoW in case she notices their posts and invites them for tea; I use Kate as it’s her “famous name”, K-Middy if I’m feeling perky. But Kathryn?? Katherine? Katharine? It’s not like she’s not hugely famous and has her name everywheeeeeeeere.

Soft-launching his mistress, ie the royals and media cooperating
and
Piling the pressure on Wills and Kate to give us the real story, ie the media not on the royals’ side.

I agree with the above, the soft launch or whatever you want to call it is on The Telegraph, the Independent, Evening standard, Toronto star, Tatler (deleted again), Times of India, US weekly, cosmopolitan, Evoke, Marie Claire, Scottish Daily Express, Elle, Times Now + many many more. Some are profile articles and a lot of the foreign ones are boldly mentioning as affair.

Strangely the DM which is the trenches has yet to write anything about Rose. One wonders if it's because the Marchioness is pally with Sarah Vine?

Me neither. None of them want to be ordinary rich people living a private life. They want the deference and glory andcthe bells and whistles. I doubt William will do anything to modernise the Monarchy, unless it is the only alternative to abolition. William just doesn't want the press asking questions. She had surgery, they said she'd be back after Easter. The pressure got too much and they hastily uploaded a picture and didn't edit properly.

I really feel sorry for her. Who would want to be in her position. The press have turned against her as she hasn't given them enough information. Imagine looking at your children and knowing that they will be going through this type of nonsense in years to come. I wouldn't blame them.at all if they wanted to stand down.

I did see a very interesting post on social media about how William is not getting along with KC. I wonder if that's him "modernising" the RF / causing the conflicts if true.
So many of W+K's event clash with the King's apparently taking the limelight away from KC. He's apparently already changed a couple of things which are Charles projects. I didn't pay much attention - time will tell.

That kind of truism is rather toxic imo.
