@AInightingale Thanks. I wonder if she leaves she can insist on the kids 'leaving' too. The internet has made the role full of difficulty and she must be having a miserable time and perhaps wants out for all of them and not just her.

Kate is big business for the press. She gets guaranteed clicks and there for increase advertising and revenue. She is sick, so is not available to make money.
Then they release a photograph through their social, undercutting the media machine. And they are pissed off at her.

I am very nosy so would like to know what procedure she has had, but that is about me and am not entitled to that information.

Kate is not unwell even William said she is doing well.

To be fair that would be Meghan - look at all the posts in the papers when it's anything about M+H. Even these forums here there are hundred of posts in minutes when it's Meghan.

I think the papers know what's going on since the palace leaks like a sieve, they just are allowed to speak on it.

You are the intentionally obtuse one. You don't even know what surgery she has had. It's 8 weeks since her surgery. She's young and fit and can apparently wear tight skinny jeans shown in her photo.

If she is still recovering why has she got energy to sit in front of photoshop for hours merging those images?

The last time she was seen was the 27th December. Then an ambulance . Then the “planned” surgery which they knew she’d be camera ready for by Easter but no face shot until then.
She was happy for photo’s after giving birth.
There’s no way they wouldn’t milk her having even the most “embarrassing” illness. Can you imagine the fall out over stigmatising it if she kept it quiet.
Rose is the excuse to cover the cracks .
Divorce is coming.

I think she is recovering for her operation and she want to be left alone.

She may think something simple, like I would like to be fully recovered before go anywhere, I'm pretty sick of being push to go to events when I'm not feeling well, as much as that comes with my position, I really can take a break to recover.
And I totally back her in that.

Regarding the affairs or whatever, that is a long standing story. If is false she may think the last think I want is silly gossip around me, because I won't be able to get this right, there will be always someone saying something annoying.

If they are true, she may well had had an awakening after her op and is seriously thinking to drop William on the kerb.

I wouldn't blame her for any of the above, and if the affair is true I would tell her the same I would tell any other women. LTB.

It's ok to feel sorry for her for her illness I think everyone does and would. I Imagine she will come out in her own time and tell people if she wants to, but let's not pretend she's bed bound. We've seen she isn't.

We also know there's more to it than just what we are being told. People aren't stupid. Of course some choose to be.

Getting the popcorn out at the spectacle of someone being ill is a bit sick

A lady I work with had surgery just before Christmas on her stomach, not sure what type of surgery.

She has only returned to work this week - she's still not right, but is only now feeling well enough to be out and about.

I honestly think what the RF has said is true, she's had surgery and is recuperating until Easter x

The press were on Kate's case for years, until Meghan came along.

Used her against Kate, like mean school girls who are best friends based on having a mutual person they hate.

Made worse when H & M decided to leave.

Suddenly K was a heroine but the media shows yet again how they can turn on anyone.
Boils down to lift them up to bring them down. K realising that she isn't immune to it all.

Like Holly Willoughby, she started to belive her own hype. A few interviews of her speaking over Prince W and remember thinking the Palace won't like that.

I also belive what H said about protecting W at all costs, as it turns out, even if it's his own wife.

K was a villian, M came along took that tittle from her, now with H & M not around, the spotlight is firmly back on K with nowhere to hide.

That's why H left as he knew he'd always be used as a shield to protect his brother.

As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.

I might be wrong but information presented so far points to a troubled marriage. Only time will tell. It seems as though Kate has checked out and is refusing photos or anything.

I am sure whatever they are doing they want to do it well to protect William and the crown.

I don’t know how only you are but if you witnessed the late 80s to early 90s there was carnage in the royal family with divorces, affairs galore. To be honest Diana let them set a new narrative and recover.

Kathryn has had an operation, her consultant told her to recover for 8-12 weeks and therefore she will be out of action until after Easter. It is none of our business what that operation was as like you and I she is entitled to confidentiality and privacy.

Prince William took a photo for mother’s day - and they photoshopped it! So what?

The media bullshit and all this nonsense must be making Kathryn feel like shit, if there is anything else going on it may or may not come out-in time - but this speculation is harmful, hurtful and just not needed.

@Marchintospring So ambulance is true then? The palace lied about it being a planned procedure . . . it was an emergency.
It looks like they keep lying to people.

What makes me laugh is that the Rose Hanbury stories are simultaneously:

Soft-launching his mistress, ie the royals and media cooperating

and

Piling the pressure on Wills and Kate to give us the real story, ie the media not on the royals’ side.

For my money I think a lot of this is all just froth, media boredom, the story has become the story. Lots of nonsense is being traded as fact: I've seen plenty of posters refer to Kate's face shopped in from the Vogue cover (it wasn't) or the non-existent ambulance. I think she’ll return after Easter (not on Easter Sunday), exactly as we were told. The only misstep in the palace playbook has been a poorly edited photo, and who knows why that happened. Take away all the noise and there’s really not much else. Much as I am enjoyed the theories…

I also don't think William would allow the RF to be phased out. He seems to really want the job. I doubt he'd go down without a fight. I can see them rehabilitating his image. They did it with Camilla.

I think that Catherine, the Princess of Wales, will be back doing some public engagements in April. As was indicated from the beginning.

Sadly all the coverage means less focus on the government we have, the political party of which accepts and seemingly may be continuing to take money from someone who wanted one of our elected MPs shot.

@zeibesaffron Let's be frank William didn't take any photo. They merged old images. They lied about a planned procedure, an ambulance came for Kate. They lied about the photo being taken a week before etc. There are too many lies. I think they've also lied about Kate sending that Instagram message.
