Ok here's what I have:

I've seen overlays by photographers and graphic designers where they're calling into question all three pictures: in the car driving with her mother there were inconsistencies in the wheels (the car appears to have five, if there's a car behind it's at a weird angle and we can't see it); mother's day (we all know what's wrong with this one); in the car with her back turned to us (inconsistencies in the brick and can be overlayed perfectly with a previous picture).
These are credible people so it's worth believing some of it. I'm about 70% sure all three of the pictures are photoshopped.

Spanish and German media are saying she is very unwell, Spanish saying it's Crohn's.

"Soft launch" of Rose Hanbury OR media starting to say comply or else.

Ham fisted PR by KP; who sends out AI altered photos and expects to get away with it? An altered image is basically just deceitful and manipulative. What happened to just 'never explain never complain'?

Unsubstantiated rumours re pregnancies, thomas kingston etc etc. Not enough here to go on so we can dismiss.

Here's my theory:

Kate is a Crohn's patient who has just had a (major) operation requiring a two week inpatient stay and months of recovery. This coincides with continuous infidelity (remember how she said in around 2008 that 'it comes with the territory'). She's finally sick of it and the stress is making her physically ill. She's had enough - she has given her life up for this, her family's life, the chance at a normal life, to be smeared in the press and lose her privacy and humiliated and cheated on for the world to know her husband is getting pegged up the arse. Between a rock and a hard place because she can damage the monarchy by showing the world William's true colours, but William is taking the piss now and thinks he can keep getting away with it. SO, she is no longer complying, with photoshoots, with anything. She's done. KP decide to do a shit photoshop of her and the kids, thinking us plebs will never know as we are dumb and they are royalty, kill notice from AP and reuters blindsided them and they are now all fucked as she's done. And good on her, go be free Kate.

That's the end now get rid of the lot of them.

Unfortunately a solo Willy just doesn't have the same star quality...

My radical take is that there’s been no affair, they love each other very much and she’s recovering for as long as she’s been advised to after major surgery.

The Royal Family (insert your own airquotes to taste) has stood back and allowed the tabloids and social media to turn them into some kind of freakish menagerie.

They have taken an irreversible reputational hit (ok, yes, they’ve done this before!) and actually now are damaging the UK’s standing across the world, and particularly across the Commonwealth.

What ever the truth is, the Princess of Wales can’t be anything other than in an extremely fragile state now.

Both Charles and William have the ability - indeed a duty - to present a short piece to camera, suitably sober, suitably grown-up, and bring this out-of-control circus to a halt.

But they’re not? Why ever not?!? You don’t need to spend long online to bump into the theories that both Kate and Rose are pregnant, that Tom Kingston was murdered, that Kate’s in a coma, etc, etc, etc. There’s no way the Queen would have allowed it to get to this stage. They are RINO - Royal In Name Only - now.

You see & I'm sorry to drag comparisons in... Harry would always draw the crowds, he's very likable & he has personality. Meghan & Harry are very dynamic couple together who are just as dynamic if they go a solo run.. William is nothing without Kate, he needs her. The public like her & she has really grown into her role

Some people have suggested on Twitter that the photoshopping was done deliberately badly as a kind of deliberate red flag or cry for help… that the errors made were beyond basic. 🤔

Must admit I also am finding it strange how there is clearly some kind of media blackout on Rose. She has never once been papped in all these years the rumours have flown and yet I can’t believe she never leaves her estate. Anyone and everyone connected with the RF is papped regularly no matter how much of a low profile they try to keep and no matter how loosely they are connected to the royals.

Even though she is a royal the media+sm frenzy is ott.whatever the reason for her absence she is still a person with the same human frailties as the rest of us.

I don’t think anything will stop it right now bar seeing Kate in the flesh, well. And even then, there may be rumours she’s a body double. We only have to read some of the theories on this thread to witness the world going through a seismic shift, where theories take hold again. We had a relatively calm period in recent history and now a rumour mill, which in centuries past was centred on the evil power of witches or the end of the world is nigh.

Except of all her problems, worrying about the cost of living like 'ordinary' people isn't one of them and never will be. And here's where the 'leave them alone' protestations don't stand up to scrutiny. These people have unearned privilege and with that comes a responsibility. Something strange is definitely going on.

A responsibility to share their medical information?

I can't wait until she's back on duty and everyone can just shut up about. Except of course they won't. They'll be analysing every photo, every word she says, looking for clues that she's dying or unhappy or divorcing William.

Some facts would be good as it’s a role we are funding. It’s not “a job” you get signed off from is it. They all know this which is why we know about the Kings illness and the Queen before him said she was taking it easier. That’s why this whole thing is dodgy.
Normally you’d get Kate home signing thank you cards to well wishers or something. Easter is two weeks away. If we’re expecting her to pop out all recovered she must surely be well on the way by now.

I think the theory that William wants to change to a modern european-like monarchy with less engagement and more selective supporting of key projects vs the press demanding their pound of flesh is an interesting one. I could see that there is a game going on behind the scenes where the tabloids are basically saying “if you don’t give us what we want i.e. information on Kate’s health on a regular basis, then this is what we will do”. So far KP are holding firm despite the terrible press coverage which is really damaging them.

I think the problem for William is that the modern european-like monarchies that he aspires to (Denmark, Sweden etc) have a less active role and get less intrusive press coverage, but also get far less funding from the state - I think approx. only 20% of what the UK gives annually to our royal family. Then there is the very valuable revenue from the Prince of Wales estates which isn’t taxed at all.

So whether it is Kate’s health or a problem with their marriage or any other problem that comes up, I think it is the future role of the monarchy and the expectations of the press that is a much more troubling problem that William is faced with.

I also think the royal family have been playing games to get good coverage and colluding with the press to cover things up, now its payback time and that is not pretty.
