So we're supposed to fund someone who's been proven to be lying to us? How is it acceptable that they put a doctored photo out? If they wanted privacy that's fine. We all know she doesn't need to be seen at all- she hadn't been seen since December until last week.
Kensington Palace have turned this into a circus and the public deserve answers. Some of you on here may not think you do, but I for one want to know what on earth they think they're playing at. Couldn't care less for Kates medical condition, don't want to know about that. I do want to know why they're not being held to account for lying to the people they're supposed to serve and have such privilege due to our good grace!

The only people here who are gullible are the ones accepting their lies! Those are the people who need a "head wobble",

You’re always funding people who lie to you. Your local and county councils, government, the police, the media. You think these people are honest with you? You think they don’t get involved with scandal and waste your money and lie and cheat? I’m not saying it’s okay, it’s disgusting, but Christ if we’re going to start getting rid of people who lie to us we’ve got a lot of work ahead.

This is of course not true because the whole point of the Monarchy is to be a spectacle. If they all hid and didn't publish any photos, there really would be no point in them whatsoever. It's a horrible trade-off for them, a few chosen pics, let alone the rest of the time. If they break the contract, they get the long lenses. I suspect Kate is starting to realise the consequences of this for her children.

Ridiculous to suggest the kids are going to be telling their classmates what's wrong with their mother. They are young children...and like a lot of families they have probably told their children a watered down version of what is wrong with her...you know, mummys tummy isn't well but the doctors have fixed her and now she needs to rest but will be better soon. Surely most people don't explain their entire medical situation to their primary aged children.

This thread is all the more vile coming from a site that’s supposed to support women. Treating her bodily issues, whatever they may be, as entertainment, saying you’re getting popcorn in to discuss whether someone is having a breakdown.

What is the strategy here exactly?
If they choose to stop offering even photos - and do so few engagements as it is what right do they have to continue to take £86 million from the public every year?

It is their own fault for releasing a doctored photo isn't it? They could have kept quiet (as they said they would) or they could've released a photo from the summer for example. But what they did instead was lie and drum up this circus!
If it wasn't for that stupid doctored photo nobody would be speaking about it still. It wouldn't have hit the mainstream and the "conspiracy theorists" would be short on ammo. Wouldn't you agree? Or do you think the doctored photo is totally cool and there's nothing weird going on?

If I tell myself I'll go to Tesco's tomorrow then tomorrow I can tell people it was a planned trip to Tesco's. The planning was very short-term.
