Was she at the Commonwealth service? If not, where was she driving to with William? Have they made her go in the car to be photographed, driven into a back entrance, dropped her home and then he's gone off to the service? They have ballsed this up so badly it's almost beyond belief!

Literally the only thing that would make sense now is a divorce announcement. But if that's the case, they have forced a woman who has basically given her life up to them and borne the RF 3 heirs to participate in a ridiculous charade and take the blame for something she hasn't done.

Seems that they take months off at a time when not ill, so why schedule facial enhancement surgery (or other procedures) for a time when kids are at school, other engagements were pending, and - oh well, you get the drift.

The starving huddled masses can eat cake in the meantime.

I still think the surgery is the most logical explanation, she just doesn't feel ready to be photographed yet. And it says a lot about us as a society that her appearance will be analysed to the extent we all know it will when she finally reappears. I feel really sorry for her.

But they shouldn't have faked the photo. That crossed a line.

I'm sure they meant now that the Queen is dead, we are a step closer to abolishing the RF, not killing them!

I've always thought with Kate, she was too good to be true.

I honestly couldn't believe how she has looked in the post birth hospital photos, especially with Charlotte and Louis- with George she was a bit more natural
But the latter two she was so polished, proper blow dry and full make up and heels and light coloured dresses and it just seemed so far from a normal post partum woman that it was a bit disconcerting. I think that her image has been so tightly controlled and prefect for so long that she obvious feels the need to keep this up and not to reveal a shred of humanity and vulnerability even when she is unwell, and she can't be photographed until she looks 100% back to normal and this has resulted in this PR disaster.

Maybe she has Bells Palsy?

I don't think its just the brothers. Andrew was the same. I can't believe the most expensive lawyers I'm the country didn't tell him that slut shaming a victim of sex trafficking has not been a successful strategy in court since about the 90's. They surround themselves with sycophants, makecstaff bow and scrape to toddlers and then are surprised when they produce people like this.

For what it's worth I'm pretty sure she's had a face lift. That's about the only thing I can think of that leave you unable to be seen in public for 3 months. The swelling takes this long to be barely noticeable. The immediate swelling goes in 3-4 weeks but one looks puffy for a good few months.

They made such a massive song and dance about it being abdominal surgery that my immediate thought was 'it's not abdominal surgery'

Not much else would keep her not just off work but completely invisible for this long.

That doctored picture was thrown together to make it look like she looked normal at Mother's Day which is after the surgery. It's scared herring. She'll come out after Easter looking fresher and they'll say she's fresh after having her long break.

The only other photos are:
A) in the car with sunglasses on being driven by carol. Kate looks bloated and not at all like her. Some people even questioned if it was her
B) today's car shot of them leaving Windsor where she is studiously looking the other way at a brick wall.
Contrast to other photos of her smiling out of the car.
Why would she not smile and wave. She's been hidden away. Normal people knowing the world is looking would smile and wave to reassure people. You can do that even if you feel shit. Yet here she is turning her head as far away as possible.

There is NO REASON she wouldn't show her face in a car. Smiling without sunglasses. It is so obvious that she's hiding her face.

It's her face people. She's had work on her face.
