Watching the news last night I thought it wouldn't be possible to make even more of a fuck up. Then there was the Tweet and now, the back of the head photo. Seriously it's just asking for speculation at this point.

There really was no point in the pap shoot. It doesn't erase KPs actions in the last day or so, and Kate's hiding her face, which will just refire the rumour mill.

This whole charade is ludicrous. I hope Kate gets well soon, but otherwise, what a display of disingenuous arrogance from KP. No wonder the press agencies called them on it.

Absolutely normal in ones 40s if there is a lot of laxity in the face and Kate had a lot of laxity. She was looking really old. Probably due to being stressed and very very thin.

If the King's situation really is critical, the worst possible thing they could do is deliberately have this lengthy absence and the associated controversy. Much much worse than the new (beautiful) queen looking her age.

After so much intrigue and confusion, and quite frankly ludicrous speculation for them to publish a fake photo and then appear out of nowhere the following day would have made me feel very played as a tax payer.

However it is such a sad image of her face turned away, I feel something might well be very wrong. This is nothing like the Kate we have known up to now. I hope she is okay.

Look, i know it’s her job to look pretty and smile, but the speculation, the amount of threads and social media shite that keeps being spurted out, the fact that obviously it’s something she wants to remain private, makes me feel very sorry for her.

Diana just had the press to contend with, and we know that it was immensely unpleasant for her. Imagine if SM had existed back then….. she would have been even more broken.

The constant speculation and media vomit and “for clicks” headlines are so dangerous - the misinformation is holding back so many things - unless it’s drama and death it’s not worth it. Unless it’s Gaza or Ukraine in which case it’s relagated to a back page somewhere.

Yep. The press knew about the Tampongate tapes for years. They sat on them until it was obvious the marriage was going to end in divorce, then went to town with years of stuff they already knew about and kept secret.
