The royal family

Do the Royal Family just think we are really really stupid?

Just that really. From Harry’s car chase to Prince Andrew being at a Pizza Express kid’s party.

And now we’re supposed to believe that the country’s biggest PR machine in the middle of a media storm just let Prince William take a casual Mothers Day pic on his iPhone, let the missus edit it and then post it to the world?

😒

This thread is not about my career... I can't see my name in the thread title. Nope, not there 🤣

No but surely you should have some type relevant experience if you want to credibly weigh in on the life of someone employing 200.

It's showing her as a happy glowing picture of health when clearly that's not the reality.

They said she'd be back after Easter, they should have just left it at that instead of trying (badly) to fool the public by superimposing her head on a photo!

I think she looks a bit tired and simply putting best foot forward.

With all due respect, I think you are becoming a leetle obsessed with me and my career path
Maybe drop it now perhaps?

So you’ve not managed anyone?

I've managed 120 staff, will that do?

I absolutely understood that for my organisation, the most important part of the role was being visible when the customers need reassurance. I had others (120 of them!) for doing the day to day detail.

it looked remarkably similar to when she was on the cover of vogue, not saying I necessarily think its that same picture, but just saying she look as beautiful, happy, and healthy she did for an actual cover of actual vogue.

That'll do nicely!

Of course, Dear. Thank you.

I’ll leave that entire topic here. I think I’ve made my point.

And that is the prefect analogy for William's role. He bears ultimate responsibility for the way things are done but is in no way shape or form running things day to day.

Sorry, I said I’d leave it but I’m interested!

I’m sure no one would say you did nothing more though, right? Or that it was a cushy job. No one with an ounce of intellect would believe that, seriously

Did you create strategy?
Certainly not all about approving 120 time cards.

Thank goodness! No idea what the point was though!

I think she looks a bit tired and simply putting best foot forward.

Well we were told that the picture was taken by William during the week.

In a picture of her that was actually taken during the week her face looked completely different (presumably due to medication).

It's blindingly obvious her head was superimposed from a pre-surgery photo.

Also quite obvious that the picture was taken by a professional, not William.

They should have said nothing at all and certainly shouldn't have released a doctored photo!

What picture of her taken in the week? The one clearly of someone else with Carole?

Roussette · 13/03/2024 12:38

I'm not your 'dear'

If the PoW is overseeing strategy, that's gone horribly wrong 🤣

In the trustee example (which is much closer to what PoW does) the CEO writes the strategy for the board to approve.

No, I think you misunderstood the audience. No one arguing here for sanity believes the posters harping on this will be swayed in any way. Not by logic.

@RubyOtter also Ruby, sorry to break it to you, but this is the internet and no one is fact checking posters who claim experience of any sort. Take it all with a grain of salt.

“but I think it's plain to see that strategy is not his strong point.”

Because of a family snap! Right.
